Write your story. Take it to the police first, if the law was broken, then post it online and send links to as many news sites and journalists as you can find.

Don't do it alone. There are other groups that address issues of cults (although not many since scientology did a clean sweep of them).

To a degree, you may have a bit of an easier time since your cult of interest probably won't be as vicious & well funded as cos. Nor will the authorities sit the fence so much if they do anything hinky towards you.

Find others. You won't be the only one. Set up a website & forum and find them. They may find you via google. Heck, you might even find them by googling the cult & doing a deep long search of everything you come up with.

What exScientologyKids.com has set up might be considered a somewhat gold standard in terms of presentation for a website & message board. Also look at exScn.Net as they have buffed up their game. Xenu.Net did a great job when they were the only game in town, but the website was leading edge in the 90's. Not so much now & it shows.

If you opt to picket, make sure you bring one other person & a video camera like we do. Going on the attack is not unusual for cults. Let them tear up your sign, just make sure you get it on video.

The good news for you is you don't have to wear a mask & cover your tracks to & from the protest.

There is a lot to go over. But how does the cult survive financially? How does it draw-in/create new members?

Do other people perceive it as a cult? Check with other people as a sounding board.

I'd recommend checking out FACTnet : Cult, Cults, Abuse by Religions, Abuse Recovery Discussion & Resources, Peer-Support, Legal support - there are forums there which may be of interest in case there's anyone else in your position.

That aside, simply sharing your story can be one of the most powerful things you can do - as a warning to others and a way to expose what the group is doing. I would be fascinated to hear more.

I am looking at this as a bystander, I have had experience of Diamond Way teachings and seen the famous Danish Lama, it wasnt for me based upon the cult of personality. I see someone being dragged into it now and they disagree that the Diamond Way is the Ole Nydahl show, does anyone else feel the same way????

This is Off Topic. And nobody suggested this become an additional or replacement target.

Some people are able to discuss other subjects without automagically wanting to focus on them instead of Scientology.

The first thing that sprung to my mind was to highlight the DANISH mans hostility to ISLAM. Any EuroAnon would get it right away. Two footbullets for the price of one as far as the Muslim community is concerned. I wouldn't advise it myself (stirring up political trouble for Muslims, who are already marginalised in Europe), but i suppose if you're desperate it might work. It would be more effective in Europe than the US of course, since afaik American Muslims are more integrated.

I apologise if this seems like trying to cause trouble and still don't really understand why I'm posting this apart from linking the (to me) obvious. Mods please feel free to delete or whatever
