Morgan Freeman critically injured in crash

The Shadow would like to apologise.

Mr Freeman has been hit by the curse of my accursed stepmum. Every time she takes a day off, someone famous dies. Without fail. She was off yesterday, when the crash occured....and she's off tomorrow it's not looking good.

Still, look on the bright side, if he does die (and I hope he doesn't, the world needs more actors like him), surely all the comic geeks will start up a big campaign to get him a posthumous Oscar nomination for his role in 'The Dark Knight', ie a role that was admittedly well played, but not Oscar material, and therefore is only a token nomination because he has died.

I saw him interviewed on British TV. One of the main things that struck me with him is that HE REFUSES to play 'the race card'. He's a GREAT ACTOR, DAMMIT! Plain and simple. I really gained even more respect for him. He's A PERSON, not a RACE. I thought he handled it VERY poignantly. Needs to be more people like him........ESPECIALLY in Hollywierd.

Broken bones, in a lot of pain, neck and shoulder injuries, in good spirits, surgery possibly on Monday.

Speculation is that he may have fallen asleep at the wheel, now at 71 and with enough $$$ in the bank I think it's time to hire someone who could be driving Mr. Freeman wherever he needs to go.
