I think that's a great idea and effort on your part. BUT, wouldn't it be a better idea for Enturbulation to have its own Youtube account, doing exactly the same thing. Then it would be on the front page of this site, and linked from every page.

I writing this because as of yesterday, Mark Bunker's YouTube account has been suspended, and as of this morning still is. There are no Terms of Service Violations in any of his videos, and am curious as to why it was suspended.

As Google and YouTube are very large players on the internet, I was under the impression that your company was for free speech, not abridged. Your company fought against the use of records in legal proceedings in China previously, and would like to know: Are you being controlled by the Religous Technology Center, Inc. AKA Church of Scientology, Inc.? If so, we as members and users of your site would like know. If so, we can take our searches to Microsoft or to Yahoo!. We would be more than happy to do so.

When I say we, I am meaning over 15,000 registered members of enturbulation.org. And do not think none of us are IT Professionals, whose families and colleagues and customers rely on us for opinion of what search engines to utilize. What email services to use (Yahoo! currently offers unlimited email space). And a host of your other services. We can easily point people to the alternatives out there.

Please, we request an answer, and reinstatement of the YouTube account XenuTV1. And do not think that sitting on your laurels would be acceptable. We vote with our feet, and do not hesitate to use that vote, as we did in February, March, and in April.

But you say the CoS ads is a purely capitalistic/profit-related choice. Isn't taking money from scientology similarly self-destructive? Remember what YouTube and Google's main demographic is. Yep, me and you. Most of their users probably think scientology is worse than pornography.

It's a horrible business decision, and combined with these account issues it is baaaad thinking.

Again: I would not advice to leave Youtube or Google, but I would advice you to keep your Chanology subscriptions on a YouTube account that doesn't have your "public" email in it.

So bloody important we do not cave in with petty 'walk-outs'. I'd rather bomb them with intelligent tl;dr emails, phone them up, and generally pressure them into doing something about this. Walking away does nothing to sway the big corporation.
