UPDATE: The current situation is still a developing story. I am waiting for a call-back from multiple arenas. I'm going to divulge that WHAT is holding up the delay is NOT the Co$, it's something very, very specific, and very very petty. HOWEVER, I want to note that it is a mystery as to WHO requested XenuTv1 to be removed. It was more than just flagging. That my friends, I believe that the Co$ is behind. I think that what is going on behind the scenes is something that Co$ didn't anticipate, but IS being worked on, and WILL be remedied. You have to remember though, when speaking with the very top of these organizations, it sometimes takes a while. Executives like to golf, you know...

yeah, but VF is the resident PressFag that is actually talking to people high enough in the YouTube chain of command. So his updates carry a teensy bit more weight. :P

I see from misc forums that the news haven't really hit "most people" on the internet
yet (forums that would usually have had a thread about it a long time ago).

Still doesn't remedy the fact that there have been scientology ads all over YouTube
lately. YouTube is supposed to be neutral ground. Religious ads? Come on. Can you imagine
Southern Baptist "Jesus Loves You"-ads on YouTube? So why scientology-ads?

Scientology is widely considered a brainwashing pyramid scheme. A woman
just killed herself, probably due to one of their crushing personality tests.
This isn't greyzone. It's way beyond greyzone. Why does Youtube allow them to advertise?

Also, I know we have some people who work at ISP's and are the DNS admins. They could do the same thing on their DNS servers... Or better yet, route them to XENU TV - Exposing Scientology Through Streaming Video !!! I know I will be doing this. My customers will love me, saving them some bandwidth :D
