everyone should do this. the upside of vimeo being a smaller site is that it only takes 100 or so 'likes' to bring a video to the front page.

Join Vimeo but stay on YouTube as well. YouTube is still by far our main way to contact the general public.

I noticed it still has the 'clock-cam' thumbnail. YouTube's way of 'snubbing' something they don't like. Same thing happened on one of mine (about TC). Took 8 hours for it to change. Shmuks.

Congrats to Mark on finding a new home. Vimeo comes across as far more modern than YouTube. YouTube seems as though they're getting lazy. Their video player is a piece of shit, the site is just plain buggy (sometimes comments don't show up, sometimes thumbs up/down don't count, etc.). Outside of site quality, they seem to be a bunch of pricks.

Well, that's that. Signed up for Vimeo and subscribed to Mark's new channel.

I submitted a story on Digg regarding this, so if you could Digg it folks, that may be a good idea to get the word out: Digg - Wise Beard Man (Mark Bunker) returns... on Vimeo

He pwns youtube in that video. And he is right, the quality of the default player is a lot higher.

And since anons will abviously be hosting vids on youtube, by getting him shut down, thay have actually only succeeded in bringing him a new audience on vimeo in addition to the views he will get on youtube.

Thats some serious osa fail.
