Colbert has no control over youtube. Before you got purged, he got purged much worse. Not just episodes of TCR and TDS, which I can understand, but even fanvids were yanked and people were banned.

Posting on the board has never gotten anyone on the show. I doubt you will be able to get your guy on the show. On the other hand, you don't have to to reach your aims. You want to discredit Scientology. That will be much more effective if you let Colbert and Stewart do your work for you. You may be able to achieve your goal, but only if you post intelligently. Only post when there is something ridiculous about Scientology in the news. Nothing involving any actual deaths, they can't joke about that. Don't post there more often than two weeks. You can reply in follow-up to your own thread, and of course you can participate in other non-Scientology threads (without mentioning Scientology).

There is also a Religion forum there where you can post about Scientology all you like, but better to restrict it to one or two threads.

Make it easy for them to make jokes about Scientology. Do the research for them.

Ok I planted some seeds around the Colboards, hopefully that will get people talking at least.

Wait a minute, back up. Did this Mark Bunker guy have a clip from The Colbert Report in his show? That's why his account got yanked, not because of the Scientologists. There was bad blood between youtube and Viacom. Viacom was going to sue for something ridiculous like a billion dollars because of all the Colbert Report and Daily Show clips, because they wanted the ad revenue. Youtube responded with a scorched earth policy and yanked ANYTHING with Colbert off of youtube with Colbert in it, even lovingly made obvious fangirl tributes, Exit 57, it was so sad. There was a wailing and gnashing of teeth during the Great Purge.

They are less stringent now, but the odds are even that any youtube clip with even a brief appearance by Colbert can get the owner's account banned on youtube. It happened to a lot of us.

I think anonymous_broad has already laid the groundwork for a strategy. I was merely saying we should put effort into that plan and offering a name.

maybe we could do some major publicity stunt or something as well to get their attention. like a global protest. oh wait...

I know. I'd thought about doing that too. But seriously, there's no way we could gather enough support for any kind of global protest. Sure would be awesome though.

How about Colbert Masks. I think if enough Colbert Masks are in the crowds it will get attention. I am going to try and get one. If they exist.

Stepeehen took a shot at scientology on Monday I think.
