XenuTV Situation Room FAQ
Why does this subforum exist?
A megathread is no longer practical, but Breaking News can't be filled with threads on one specific issue. What should be posted in here? Anything related to the Youtube censorship of XenuTV. Any other questions? Should be pretty self-explanatory. ;) Now post threads and help flesh out the subforum into a nice resource. ![]() |

Re: XenuTV Situation Room FAQ
Mark speaking about his youtube ban...
He wants Stephen Colbert himself to say that he doesn't mind that wise bread had a video of him on youtube.... This would lift his ban. Here's a link to Stephens forum ColbertNation.com :: Index |

Re: XenuTV Situation Room FAQ
Quote:
Snail mail letters count BIG TIME with Viacom. Phone calls and faxes of a professional manner (sorry pranksters you will make this whole effort FAIL by issuing prank calls) are also a big way to get noticed and have your voice matter to the company. Now by professional I mean something explaining why you are writing, who you are, and if possible list the many shows you watch that Viacom produces that you will stop watching because of their latest actions on YouTube against Mark Bunker. Professional is NOT: U R SUCKTASTIC! OMG I H8 U. Snail mail letters count as something like 10,000 people. Why?? Because they figure if they pissed you off enough to write your opinion that 10,000 other people feel the same way. Calls and faxes are considered to be less people at about 1,000-5,000 people having the same opinion for every call or fax. Email is seen as significantly less being counted as 1-10 people.

Re: XenuTV Situation Room FAQ
Posted to CNN.com:
I was watching progress on a protest movement, when I noticed the involvement of free speech violations on a you tube account, although both sides are quite outspoken and sometimes even violent there seems to be internet censorship going on against activists that speak out against scientology. Looks like a "fireing back and forth tit for tat, but the story should be brought to light. This is infringing on our constitional rights to free speech and needs to be addressed. This link has the core of the story and both sides are completely entitled to thier opinions - but getting eachother's voices banned for whatever reason seems... wrong. Related link: http://forums.enturbulation.org/100-...om-faq-10124// I'll look around and see if anyone is interested in picking up this story. |
