Re: Los Angeles/Hollywood, CA
Bummed out I couldn't make it cause I had to work today...which sucks because if I could've made it, I would've been able to bring two friends since they didn't have work today (was supposed to be the driver).
Anyway, I hope it went awesomely and wasn't too hot! |

Majorly bummed that I couldn't go today either. Had IRL responsibilities I couldn't neglect this weekend. Party hard for me, fellow LAnon!

Rule 22 I'm sooooo sorry you're sick. I've had that horrible stomach flu twice in the last few months. Do you have the awful headache? Are you reallllly sleepy? Take it easy and leave the protesting to the rest of those guys.
We'll both make the next one! |

Re: Los Angeles/Hollywood, CA
Here's a report:
First off WHERE WAS PROM DRESS GIRL? You big tease! SECOND: The LAPD ROCKED and were so nice, warm and professional. I am calling the captain and thanking them for their kind, gentle and fabulous demeanor. If you were there and loved the Hwd Blvd cops, call the Hollywood Division and ask for the watch captain, and tell him/her how much you appreciated their professional and courtesy behavior and how they made us feel safe and secure. Okay there were lots of us. I cant count with out loosing track but suffice to say we were legion. AND that was with the HGB building being scaffolded and boarded over for steam cleaning--the boards provided us with NICE shade. Some poor silly Sci-man had to stand out with an umbrella and rain coat to let people in the building. They kept that up till around 2pm. We got there early to enturbulate and I got the joy of asking Kenneth Moxon if his needle was floating today. He smirked. Cupcaeks courtesy of churchlady along with her bevvies and packaged snacks were passed out. She had wanted pics of Prom Dress Girl who didnt show up...oh well. Gay Pope was there and so was Tory who got a chance to talk with a Sci-lady who had just done New Basics. Scooter guy/critic Mark Ebner was there too. Those of us who were there early (Noir, Ath, Kone, Aaron, Sciscibybye and his son Scibye and your faithful correspondent) got fail handled by an OT8 lady who was sort of upset when I mentioned the desire of Sci to overthrow the US govt. She was going on about all the good Co$ does, but Kone just kept pointing out their bad outweighs their good. He is awesome. So then she went around the corner and tried the same schtick on the other 5 of us. That comm cycle--lol--was also flunk. Then she went away after giving us gifts of some DVD. I felt bad for her because her jacket was really old and 80s style ugly. Prolly spent all her $ on the Freewinds...ooops. Thetan Ass and her security crew were there to make sure we got lei'd if we gave her $$ for Sean and Gregg and our legal fund. Very cool. Freezoner family joined us (I love when families do stuff together!) along wiht parents of the disconnected, free speech advocates and lulz luvvers. Around 3:30 a bus pulled up by the Knickerbocker which is housing for SO, and a bunch us went around the corner up Ivar and took positions on either side. The bus idled for about 15 mins and pulled away: FAIL. This happened 2 more times and when the bus arrived at our new location at Big Blue (we had divided by then into 3 groups, one stayed at 6331 Hwd, one moved to Hwd/Highland and the rest to BB) it was past 5pm and there was ONE person on board (unless all the others were ducking done in their seats to avoid being seen by/seeing the SPS). We had held up the bus for nearly 1.5 hours! BB/LRH Way had 2 PIs, and three off-duty LAPD guarding the front; the street was blocked off. Plus again, a TV screen that was playing really stupid Dianetics videos of people flushed with success: "It was like a giant river running out of me" "It was like a 747 taking off" (make that a DC-9) "I looked thirty years older and now I look like ten years younger" (Um, I'd rather spend that money on shoes and purses. And moisturizers made from the placentia of the unborn -- kidding. Sort of. About the accessories. I never joke about moisturizer and sunblock) All in all a very nice day, though I missed Rule22 and his loooong lens. Hope you feel better! You missed me in my pink kitty mask--meeeow! Other people took pics and can figure out how to load em up. I am better at yakking that than snapping.

Re: Los Angeles/Hollywood, CA
I'm so sorry I didn't make it today. I was looking forward to it all month, but then I woke up yesterday SUPER sick and stayed in bed all day hoping to get better. Unfortunately, I am just as sick today - perfectly MIS-ER-A-BLE and in so much pain.
Epic fail by my immune system. :-P Hope it went well! |

Re: Los Angeles/Hollywood, CA
I knew something was up when I went to Big Blue, and saw no anonymous there. Was slowpoke too slow?
I saw WTZ walking by with food and his horn, and tried to track him down to tell him that the legion was probably somewhere else, as I thought in my head cursing to myself for not getting around to join the email list. I chased after him for about a whole block before he disappeared. What happened after I couldn't see him anymore? Who knows, maybe he knew the real schedule, or perhaps he went home. I walked to the subway a tired and mentally drained man who was chasing after the foot steps of shadow people. Took a train to Hollywood/Highland to do some justice. There was apparently a chinese protest about the Olympic's and Tibet, so knowing that I will find no anons here I walked downward to the museum, until I spotted a free stress table at the Scientology center that could only be found near the wax museum. I wasn't going to be able to protest with the others, but at least I was going to protest with great justice. Till next time. |

Re: Los Angeles/Hollywood, CA
So, I was there today and I've never actually been vocal, but I've been watching and now I feel like it's time I was a bit more vocal so all of you can actually remember me for next months protest lol.
Anyways, thanks for the smoothie MarcabEmpress, I owe you at the next one! I was the heavy set guy in the black dress shirt and black dickies pants, I lead the first wave of blue-sheet-er's to the BB/LRH Way, did an interview while there, and got us chanting and everything. I had a big blast and was glad to finally do more than just support Anon silently from the background like I've been doing. And thanks to Kone for walking over when that OT lady was trying to sucker me into speaking to her alone. :P I was also one of the early ones (around noon or 12:15 when I got there), the few that can also remember, I was the one who was getting yelled at by that guy across the street before I got to the actual area. |
