Re: Amsterdam, Netherlands

This was all sorts of win ^^
Bloody hot though, and I even ripped the bottom out of my pants -.-
off the 3000 flyers I brought along around 1000 are still left, so combined with the loads of other flyers we had I'd guess we passed out around 3000-3500 flyers.

A few anons and Jeta went around to the back of the scieno building, that part was open.
Was a nice guy sitting there at the entrance, we greeted him and he instantly got a very enturbulated look on his face.

Anons started picking through his flyers and reading them, the anons discussed the psych drugs with him ("It ain't called kiddie cocaine for nothing you know!")
Jeta and the anons asked him some questions, he refused to enter discussion with Jeta.
I asked the poor bugger what his OT level was and apparently he wasn't even clear yet.
When Jeta asked if he would like to know what was in store for him on the bridge he said no, he had no interest in knowing what his future held.

A short guy wearing shorts came out and tried to bullbait us, very agressive, told us we had to go away and we responded by telling him it was a public street and we had al rights to be there.
Eventually I had a staring contest with the guy and I'm happy to say I won :P (it's the mask, it works like a marcabian energy shield)

Then an OT5 stepped out and started discussing the failwinds with me and Jeta, he denied the blue asbestos and even denied that blue asbestos had been found.
he also denied that the faiwinds had been chained.

After that a weird looking guy in a blue shirt popped out, he stepped up to our very own Hug-anon and ripped of his mask!
Hug-anon's face was exposed only for a few seconds.

And then came security, told us to leave.
We refused on the grounds that it was a public street, he threatened with calling the cops.
We stood around for a little while more, discussing with the OT5 and then we went back to the front, accompanied by the OT5 who was still in discussion with Jeta.

all in all, it was win.

Then Hans Beekmans (I think) came up and pulled blue shirt guy away, saying: "He's not worth it!". It was pretty weird.

Scientology - because you're not worth it.

We had Chalk Tech (tm) and Hug Tech (tm) and did some serious educating of the public - I didn't see a lot of people refusing leaflets, and I saw loads of interested people. Also we have Awesome Balloon Tech (tm)! (which had the added fun factor of seeing loads of kids walking around the city advertising xenu.net. Thanks very much for the Anon who arranged that. Please let us know if you got sufficient donations!

We also had the fabulous Free Gullibility Test with our very own extremely scientific BS Meter (which looked GREAT, somebody provide a pic?) which was a great gimmick to get people to interact with us, and also a good reason to do regular "Are you gullible enough to join Scientology? Find out today with our Free Gullibility Test!" bullhorn announcements.

Sadly we had no powerrr and thus no music (apart from what I ocassionally blasted through the bullhorn, sorry guise for the crappy quality) and together with the sweltering heat & no shadow that made us all flag a bit..

Personally I think the Beursplein location is better. We lack the 'In front of ur org' statement but since they make sure there's nobody there (at least not visibly) I don't think that really adds much. Our real skill is educating the public, and I think the Beursplein, with plenty of space and more shade available, plus more foot traffic, is really better. We can keep enturbulating the orgs in flashraids, that's more effective anyway.

All in all a good raid. I saw many familiar faces, I guess we're down to the dedicated "Hired student terrorist protesters" now, which if somewhat less in numbers (40? 50?), make up for it in conviction and dedication.

Holy crap, when did this happen? Poor Hug-anon! Well, he still gives the best hugs, no matter what Scientology tries to do to him.

We also had balloons on this raid! Thanks to everyone for their help with those. They helped give the protest a festive atmosphere and made us a little more approachable. Plus they were fun.

Loudness > quality. We got to rickroll the org and that's what counts.

Oh Lawd, is that some victory?

I'm not 100% sure if the people labelled as spai are actual spais. There are some who told me that they were but I wouldn't be knowing if they were crying wolf or not.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Very Nice Raid with mucho grande LULZ. When we took off for some drinks my girlfriends handed a flyer to a cop. (not the brightest idea :) ). He answered her question with a lot a mumbling about flyering isn't legal when anons are not on location with perment and/or if you have a commercial gain. We explained we have no commercial gain. We just want to shut down narconon and we are beginning with their roots, Scientology. The Cop explained they(the copS) not gonna do something about us flyering on other places , but if scientology where flyering , the cops will see that as commercial gain..

Epic Win for Us!

Personaly i'm really glad that some flyers explained the narconon method too.. Anonymous is everywhere!. but i haven't seen you at narconon, Netherlands.
The folks in Zutphen (narconon's dutch location) need anons help too. A quick scan in their neighbourhood suggests that the neighbours didn't even know it is a scientology operation!

Keep up the Epic Win!

ps. The Lady at the coffeeshop at the left of our demonstration was not happy about our demonstration. She didn't get the mask thing at all and she was convinced anonymous was going to leave a hell of a mess. The funny part was she was talking to a anonymous without a mask. After i explained what we are doing and why so few of us entered her coffeeshop, she became somewhat more understanding , but she wasn't cool with it at all!

Ps. nice freakin' weed there! Directly opposite the scientology church. :) :)..

Re: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Hi Anon,
A friendly piece of advice from a lurker.
For people who are so careful about their own privacy (with good reason), you seem to be much at ease with exposing the privacy of others who do not belong to your direct clique. You have to understand that it is inherent to any form of demonstration/raid to attract people from different walks of life who might walk by and support your cause. Some might not wear masks.
I am one of them. I passed by with the tram yesterday and decided to check it out for a moment. However I found out you guys/girls are so paranoia that you brand every outsider as a possible spai. I now find my picture all over the place with weird insinuations. I would expect this kind of behavior from Scientology but not from anons who seem value their own privacy so much.
I know for a fact I am not the only who got this treatment from you guys. A friend of mine joined the first raid and was confronted with very negative insinuations. This person is very reluctant to join in the future.
I personally do not care to see my picture over the internet with negative connotations. I choose not to wear a mask and I have read enough about Scientology to know the risks. However it surprises me that a bit that till now, it is not Scientology who has been compromising my privacy. The phrase, who needs enemies with friends like that, comes to mind.
For what it is worth I still think you guys and girls are doing one hell of a job.
Please continue and keep up the good work.

Usually most anons will be good if you ask them while there either not to take your picture or to blurr you out should they post them. Best to handle that in person and at the protest. Simple 2 minute conversation with who ever the photofags / vidfags are.

That or PM them here and ask them to do that. Pretty sure they'll comply with your request :)

Thanks for showing up!

Thanks for your reply.
The problem is that not everybody knows the structure of your group. Further you certainly do not always notice when people take pictures of you.
Also, not publishing pictures of supporters of your cause should be common practice for a group who worries so much about Scientology's fair game policy. It all just seems to be a bit of a contradiction.
I further do not have a problem with my picture being taken as such. However, I was surprised to find out I was being branded a scifag. No idea where that came from. I talked to some people and have attended raids before in a more active form (now I was just dropping by for a short period).
As I explained, this public exposure thing is something I expect from scientology not from Anonymous.
