Awesome raid was awesome. Peaked with 11 people but spirits were high and there was many a rickroll. Police were great, except maybe stopping us from handing flyers to people stopped at traffic lights asking for flyers and telling me I had to talk my mask off to cross the road to take pictures (which I didn't bwahaha).

No $cilons to speak of; the Dianetics centre was closed, though there was a photofag as we arrived. A drone came along on a bike later, misreading our signs and saying "Scientology is great!", then coming back, shitting himself and making a run for the abandoned HQ. I'm sorting through pics (both spais snapped, no problem!) now, will upload eventually...

People in the street were cool too, lots of people stopping to talk and even more willingly taking flyers. As usual there were tools yelling stuff as they drove past because we were cleverly disguised

and that is, like, so weird!1

Yeah was a really positive protest and it was good to see the amount of people who were properly reading the flyers that we were handing out, a video clip of me playing a song will also shortly be available on youtube, i think the guitar and the cd player created a good party atmosphere and the majority of people in cars going passed seemed very supportive, a lot of beeping and thumbs up! well done everyone who was there.

Hmm, did Sci on a Bike have a beard? A bearded balding guy with a Dainesse bike jacket and driving a KD Carpets van was one of the sneaky Sci Spai photographers in March, and his van had a pushbike strapped to the roof.

Sounds like it was great, I'm so jealous I couldn't be there! in March the police didn't want us giving fliers to cars etch for safety reasons, but they didn't say we had to de-mask to take pics from over the road. It sounds similar to things Ive read about other protests this time, I think maybe the Scis have asked the police to make Anons de-mask on "their" side of the road.

I forgot about the Green Party council guy (while we were dancing away someone came up and introduced himself, swore at the Dianetics building and said something that he wouldn't let them get his town and it's ridiculous how they've opened up shop where they have to attract 'vulnerable' students), I'll look into it now, see if I can get some emails going. We came to the same conclusion part way through the day when the foot traffic died down. The pizza hut accross the road provided us with a pizza box for making new signs with.

Was good fun, but the lack of a real scientology presence there (the only proof of them being there at all is a dianetics label in the window) meant quite a few people were suprised as to the fact that there was anything there at all. I myself, having reconned the place the day before didn't even see that sign and had to check that the protest was acctually going to be there and not somewhere else.
