Re: Sydney, Australia
gotta say i was pretty damm pleased with how the protest went. there was realy good morale thanks to boombox guy, the SP wall project realy felt like i was having a direct impact on Co$ policy, and David Graham's presence definatly gave our cause some credibility (in my opinion).
ive noticed the Scilon baiters have completely changed tactics since the last few protests. They are now acting like members of the public and pretending to be interested in what we have to say, eating up time we could be spending talking to others. whilst talking to anons, their tactics mainly resembled trying to get anon to doubt the cause they have taken up. some were better at this than others, but all failed as they hung around one particular anon too long and ended up repeating themselves. by the end you knew which ones were scilons as they were taking a few laps past. but i DID think we had epic fail when timmeh came. id have to say that we got baited by him hardcore. think of how this looked to the public over the street: "what are those weird masked people chasing that guy down the street jeering at him?" seriously, we were getting rude and thats not how you handle them. remember, he thinks hes doing the right thing and to the public, it looked like we were harrassing HIM. towards the end of his little appearence, it was starting to look like what protests look like when they are about to get violent. not cool anon, check yourselves next time. but other than that, great job :D

Why did I decide to get in his face? Because Tim informed me he was administration. Administration = higher management. In other words, he knows EXACTLY what is going on and not just another lost individual getting fooled by the Cult of Scientology. As for looking like things were going to get violent; again I have to totally disagree. All he received was some good natured vocal elbowing. I didn't hear any threats or insults being hurled at him. He did take the time to tell me that "they know what I look like", which is why he's currently got a presence on the front of the site. What I did with Tim I wouldn't do to someone just walking out of the Castlereagh centre with a handful of clam propaganda, as they're obviously the individuals we're out to help. But, when they start sending out individuals from Administration who get up in our faces, its gloves off (within the boundary of the law, of course)

Ya right Tamphex.
As hard as Tim tried to use his 'command intention'(he doesnt rate a tone 40, coz he was the personification of fail, IMHO), the more he failed to deliver. His purpose became that of distracting us all from innoculating the public/wogs. All Tim actually did was, to harden the resolve of the Nony's in educating the public. People were willingly handing over Tims "free stress test" flyers without hesitation. Cultists had been specifically drilled about the Nony's and the picket. Never before had so many OT's been sent out into the fold with all of us SP's, ever. The cult is getting hammered. period. Tamphex, expect a PM in a day or so about what I had discussed with you briefly. The planets are aligning, so lets make history. Where's the fuckin caek!! P.S. GM Girl looked HOT! P.P.S Them chocolate cookies was the shiznit!!!! MOAR COOKIES! |

Re: Sydney, Australia
you raise a valid point tamphex, however i must point out that i wasnt saying he "didnt deserve it" but rather we "shouldnt have been doing it".
id also like to point out that when i said it looked like it was about to get violent, thats all i meant. i'll concede that the guy was a douche and he deserved it, but we shouldnt have done it because it made us look like the bad guys. isnt the whole point of these protests to raise public awareness, yet we are giving the public the impression that we ARE bullies? also even though every anon KNEW it wasnt going to get violent, i can assure you that the public doesnt have that same certainty. from my perspective, his objective wasnt to get us in trouble, but rather to make us look like jerks, and i still think if that was his objective he definatly succeeded.

Re: Sydney, Australia
Timmeh definitely failed. He was threatening individual anons and trying to incite violence, while we just took the piss out of him. Timmeh's bullbaiting = phailings.
