To make your own flag with just a printout, you need fabric, masking tape, spray paint, grommets (reinforced metal holes) to attach flag to pole, and a tool to put grommets onto the fabric, and maybe fray-check.

Fray-check is a lacquer-like product that comes in small bottles like white-out. It is applied wherever threads come loose. If you buy fabric with a tight enough weave, you won't need it.

These supplies are expensive, so borrow and improvise. Look at real flags and decide the hardware and the look that you want.

Buy fabric of the main background color (like green). Buy other fabrics for stripes, if you can sew. Make them similar in shininess, tightness of weave (don't mix shiny nylon with dull cotton)
Use black spray paint for Anonymous, and (if you're not sewing the stripes) your choice of spray paint colors to get stripes and rising-sun effect.

To get the Anonymous guy onto the flag: Get two print-outs of Anonymous guy (blown-up to the size you want). From one print-out, cut out the black figure with very sharp scissors, and discard the white surrounding paper. From the other print-out, snip away inside the black figure, and cut away all the black until there is a clean white paper with an Anonymous-shaped hole in the center. If either is warped or wrinkled, iron it.

Cut out the main flag, using the right proportions of height to width. Cut with sharp (new) scissors, preferably fabric-cutting scissors. If you don't want to buy new scissors, ask the fabric store to cut it for you, so it is square. Cut off loose threads, following the grain of the fabric. If you care to sew on stripes, now is the time. Use fray-check to keep threads from coming loose. Iron the fabric so it is completely FLAT.

Get ready to spray paint: On a non-windy day, use your dry driveway, protected with a tarp or double-folded old bedsheet you don't care about. Place the main flag fabric in the middle of the tarp, as flat as possible, weighted down with small heavy objects like clean rocks. Put masking tape where you want to keep the original color. Put the black Anonymous figure in the center, to keep paint off him (you don't want multiple layers of unneeded spray paint). Spray, dry, reposition masking tape for other spray paint colors, but keep the black Anonymous figure on until you have done everything else. Let other colors dry. When you are finally ready to paint the Anonymous guy, take off the black figure, and position the white cut-out with the Anonymous-shaped hole in the center, right where you want the Anonymous figure to go, on the clean unsprayed area that you protected it with the black Anonymous figure. Since you are using black paint, which is hard to cover, be extra careful. Weight down the white paper with as many clean rocks, etc. as you wish, and put newspaper around the rest of the flag so no black spray gets on it. Spray straight down, following directions, so you don't blur the edges. Use multiple coats if directed. Let completely dry, and (groan) repeat for the other side of the flag.

Trim any new threads that have come loose at the edges, and brush on fray-check at the edges, to prevent fraying, if you are compulsive. Install grommets and put on thin flagpole that is not weapon-size.

A Flag for the hessian anon

meaning : the (ANONYMOUS) hessians are coming

that's a line from the unofficial hessian anthem "Erbarmen - zu spät - die Hesse komme" by the Rodgau Monotones

It would be nice if anyone could confirm that the latin isn't complete rubbish (I used an online translator)
