A suggestion - is it possible to have little image previews of the signs and flyers sort of like what they have on /i/? As someone who has a crap internet connection I can tell you it would be greatly appreciated.

Sup guys,

Long time lurker, First time poster. I'll just get to the point. I remember at one of the more recent protests someone had a sign with glowsticks attached to it. I thought that was a brilliant way to draw attention to the sign/message. Then I remembered watching this video that the Graffiti Research Lab put up that I thought might be something interesting to put on on signs:

Here's a couple of signs I made a few months ago for a protest. They were done mostly as a reaction to the Scilons, who carried similar signs at our protests (which basically said that Anonymous is a hate group). I thought that by mixing in some signs with a better message (Scientology is a dangerous cult), the added Scilons would only contribute to the perception of our numbers and that they would eventually go away. Well guess what? We haven't seen them since.

I printed these out on a wide-format Epson Inkjet (the rolls are 44" wide -- I don't know the model number. Kinko's should be able to print these for you). I use self-adhesive foamcore to make signs, and then I trim them with a heavy, long T-square and a boxcutter. Finished size is 40H x 24W.

Signs for the Scientologists

All of these are designed to print at 28x22. It helps to draw some right angles in the corners with MS Paint so you can trim the printout to the right size.

The "money and your life" and "mafia-style revenge policy" ones are based on sign ideas other people have had, so don't give me credit for them.

I've had one running through my head all day:

"PROPHETS DON'T WORK FOR PROFIT."

It's something I heard in high school, and it really fits well imo, because true prophets of other religions didn't do what they did to gain notoriety or wealth. L. Ron Hubbard DID have those two things as underlying themes to his "religion." It totally fits, though I'd guess you would need to put a picture of Mr. Hubbard's face on it as well.
