Alright, so we've got about 4 weeks to get this shit ready. Lets start brainstorming what needs to be accomplished. Separate ideas into things that need to be done before the protest, and things that we want to do during the protest. Also, anything else that we need to discuss.

COACHMAN PARK @ 10:30AM

Before:
-Get a permit so we can use loudspeaker, (also, some other stuff)
application was not submitted with enough notice, we may be able to use bullhorn in park area
-make promotional fliers that have local Clearwater information on them, and get them posted everywhere.
-fund raisers so we can do more stuff.
-flash pirate raids to raise awareness for 6/14

During:
-MUST HAVE PARTYBOAT!!! Boat + Anons + flags + Rickroll = win
-Bring one of those portable pools, fill it with water, put a raft in it, put pirates on raft.

For the love of god someone find the place that rents Pirate Floats for parades around here. We need to pool our money to ride around downtown in the SS Asbestos...

i was ill prepared for the 10th and ended up missing it so im dead set on attending this one, so what are the ideas/ themes thats going on this time...

Try searching the Tampa Bay area for Gasparilla floats. Gasparilla is a major celebration where there's a huge parade and people make pirate ship floats. There's probably dozens of the things sitting in garages all over Tampa Bay.

Too bad we couldn't come up with the money to rent one of these for a few hours?

I couldn't agree more.....Black + Sun = Miserable! Maybe we can all wear really bright colors?? Bright colors draw alot of attention IMO.

Just a thought.

i recomend all in attendance at sea arrrrrrg dress as pirates.

the float idea is epic as well as having pairates aborad a boat in the bay.(the boat should be dubbed the ss rickroll)

Yeah, for the first three protests I wore a business suit. But last Saturday I wore the just a t-shirt and shorts. For 6/14 I'll wear something Piratesque and cool no more Habbo-raid uniforms until fall for me.

This may be a very good idea, while the suits do look cool and give a very surreal picture of unity, they SUCK in the heat. We may want to make a move to lighter clothing for June, July and maybe August.

I like it, but the legality of having passengers in an actively towed boat needs to be checked on. First and foremost, we've got to obey the law during the peaceful protests.

The suits look awesome when it's cool outside, but for 6/14 pirate costumes sound like the way to go. Simply start with a long-sleeved, very loose fitting and lightweight white shirt. White is important because it reflects the heat. Then add some kind of hat that'll provide some shade or a bandana for the more adventurous.
