In light of recent events, the staff would like to assure everyone that abuse of mod powers won't be tolerated. This includes the outing of sock puppets (which are perfectly fine to have) when users are posting Anonymously, or otherwise. Or, Anonymous posting itself.

Yesterday (8/1/2008), there was a report that Gunslinger had abused his mod powers to reveal sock poppets of two users in the Dome. Immediately upon receiving this report, Poppins demodded him. This can serve as a reminder that if you see behavior from anyone on the forum you deem unacceptable (including that from staff), please don't hesitate to let any of us know.
