Coalition AGAINST Prank Calls

With the upcoming protest being Operation:Fair Game:Stop, I feel it is important that we take a moment to talk about the ethical implications of prank calls. Prank calling is annoying, obnoxious, and could be considered as harassment, thus we should not engage in such activity. I would encourage everyone involved in these protests to avoid any prank calling. Let us consider that we are protesting a church policy of harassing people, we shouldn't turn around and then harass them, should we?

I would implore you to NOT go out and get a program such as Skype or Earthcaller. Programs notorious for making it difficult to track down who placed the original call.

I would also encourage you to NOT use these programs, that would let you call Orgs without revealing any personal information.

I would also say that it is very important to NOT make phony calls to the Church of Scientology about battletoads being released on May 10th.

Finally, I would say that it is vital, VITAL, that we do NOT, I will repeat this due to the importance, that we do NOT make large numbers of phony battletoad calls to them over the next few weeks leading up to Operation: Fair Game:Stop.

I think this needs to be stomped on quickly.

You know what would really piss me off? If some wise ass with 1337 shooping skillz made an awesome promotional poster for BTs with space to paste in the number of the Co$'s local recruitment/information hotline as the pre-orders hotline. That would really suck. Especially if there was a strip of tear off tabs on the bottom that had the number, maybe along with the Battle Toads pre-order website address, on them. I don't know how people could stand to make such nuisances of themselves. We can't allow the good name of Anonymous to be sullied by such bad behaviour.

I'm proud of you guys for taking the initiative to nip this in the bud! We want to keep everything on the up and up and I feel reassured knowing it's in your hands.

I do certainly hope that there are no recordings of prank calls to the Church inquiring about BattleToads posted on Youtube in the coming weeks. That simply would be immature and counterproductive to our cause.

I really dont hope that anyone, anywhere would make any kind of these different sorts of "funny things" that could or would or might offend and/or startle anyone anywhere.

Could you imagine the screams of sheer terror and painful convulsions in utter repulse of even the thought of something like this?
