man i need to find a stamp place in the UK! great idea. really simple and just full of win!

i ordered some cards from vistaprint.com and now they're offering me free stamps. i've got two coming to distribute to local anons so far...

i also had an idea on the way to work this morning... i know i've seen packets of play money in toy stores before, and i was thinking of picking some up and marking it with my stamp and distributing them in the manner of the youfoundthecards... seems like it might be a cost-effective way to spread the message further, with some added WTF...

I'm doing it over here in england and wherever i go travelling. i have put 'youfoundthecash' on bills in scotland and other countries, even if they don't understand the english, they can always type it in and use a translator, ne?

i know, i'm english too, i was thinking that in places like france/ sweden ect. not all of them speak english

i got some novelty cash from a dollar store and stamped it with my youfoundthecash stamp, to drop like cards.

oriental trading co's website also has large packets of fake money if anyone's interested -- either in toy form or as notepads.

COLORS!

colors catch the eye.
I'v got a bright blue marker i'm using now.

According to the WheresGeorge.com people, RED is the most noticeable color.

They've been doing this for years and they got it down to a science.

This is really neat idea
It would be maybe even better if it redirected to page about cos tax exempt status and how it is relevant to every US citizen ... general public could better relate to that i think, it is their cash which led them to that site after all

I got lion cash a few days ago.. tagged the url on it and sent it in circulation.

Also, idea for those who have to pay rent with money orders.

Go to the bank instead of an ATM to withdrawl the cash, and get it in $1's.

Stamp, take to convenience store, and buy a money order.

Time consuming, and may get you some weird looks, but DAMN it would be effective. 500 bucks in $1's, straight to a high turn-out convenience store. FTW.

I was walking to hallways at school and found the wallet in a small stairwell leading to the second floor, I first freaked out because of the amount of money and then laughed because they had the url on it

This is a GREAT idea. I'm definitely doing this!
