Operation: Under Siege
So I just got done watching this vid:
And this guy was talking about how easy it is to completely shut down one of these orgs, and how for one whole days, they're getting no money just because a few guys are standing outside passing out fliers. That got me to thinking, what if for maybe an entire month, Anonymous could maybe camp outside of an org and do this for weeks on end. All it would take is several shifts of one or two dedicated people (probably always a good idea to have at least some backup when dealing with these crazy scilons) to absolutely shut down an org for a month. That's an entire month without any revenue. They'll have no way to heat/cool their buildings, buy food, pay for staff, etc. The scilons don't get very many new members at all as it is, doing this to an org will be a final nail in the coffin to some of these poorer "churches". From some other orgs that have gone into the red, we've seen that David Miscarriage doesn't give a flying fuck about what happens to these orgs if they go down. They won't get any monetary support, they'll simply be left to wither and die alone. This means we can eradicate orgs one by one. With each dying org, that's less money that goes to Davey. Like the form of Medieval warfare I named this after, we can starve out each scilon org building and force them to surrender (or in our case, bankrupt them to the point that the orgs have to be shut down). And better yet, we can do this one org at a time, slowly driving these scilon bastards out of our country, and eventually off the face of the earth. Is this idea awesome? yes/no |

Re: Operation: Under Siege
The only problem I see is that most of their income comes from people who are already "on the bridge" here in St. Louis they won't let any new people come in but the people who are regulars are allowed in, so the people who give them money on a regular basis would still be able to get in. Its a great way to keep them from recruiting but I don't know that it would hurt them in the pocket book.

Re: Operation: Under Siege
Yes, this idea is awesome, but it is a difficult one. It requires a number of Anons to be either dedicated enough to stand vigilant outside an org for prolonged periods, or enough organisation to arrange schedules.
There is the obvious danger of: a) $cilons going insane and attacking people. b) Them bawwing to the police. a can be solved with CAMERAS ON AT ALL TIMES, which should be done anyway. b can be solved by being in contact with the police, notifying them etc, and giving the siegeraid a kind of theme. For example, a week's sleeping on a pavement to protest abhorrent living conditions in Sea Org/RPF labour camps. Certain orgs I would recommend for this. Anonymous is VERY strong in Toronto - this is certainly a good candidate. Toronto Berlin - one person at a time with flyers (since more than 1 person is forbidden, 1 person is win!) Plymouth - they're on the fucking brink. would be my top 3 org candidates for this. I would suggest a trial run of a number of days first.

I agree we should have some kind of trial to see just how effective our new superweapon is on the scilons. i think the best testing place for this would be Berlin, seeing as how Germany already despises $cientology and how we'd practically remove the $cientology presence from Germany if this worked. |

Re: Operation: Under Siege
An Epic idea.
I agree that this should be put to practice. But to make it even more win would to bring the local authority's attention to how they are paying their staff beyond below minimum wage prior to this operation. If doing that is affective in forcing that specific org to pay their staff at least minimum wage; then their funds will run out much much quicker durring the opperation.

I suppose our superweapon is ready for testing. This will need to be put in place in a city where anonymous has a strong following, like London, Toronto, or hopefully Berlin because our German /b/rothers have had about enough of $cientology. I have no idea how much of an anonymous following exists in Berlin. Any Germanfags or people who know Germanfags know how many /b/rothers we have in Deutschland? Edit: 50 Anons at the Berlin protest in June, a healthy following, I'd say. But after thinking about this, I think we really need to do more research in seeing which major Anonymous hub has an org that is on the brink of catastrophically epic fail and then commence the siege. So I assume Op: Siege is green-lighted? I'll make a second thread about this where we'll do more planning rather than just pushing around ideas. Go ahead and lock this if you don't mind, mods. Re: Operation: Under Siege
I shal suggest this to my MontrealAnon Comrades.
I really doubt we will be able to do this non-stop for a whiole month. But perhaps a few days if we get a good order of us taking shifts. There will be LuLz to be had.

Re: Operation: Under Siege
Alright, I'm glad the Montrealfags are going to give this a shot, best of luck to you /b/rothers. I'm going to check with Torontofags or Londonfags to see if they want to do this because they always have so many people show up to their protests.

Re: Operation: Under Siege
In order for this operation to work, it's not necessary to police the Org 24 hours a day. There are times when there's no one around to recruit in the wee hours of the morning. I'm saying this because, after all, it's tough to camp/sleep outside.
The day can be divided into three: morning, afternoon, and evening with about 4 hours in each section. That would make 6 two hour slots for each day. Anons who cannot show up can donate money and other resources for those who do. When this Operation takes off, I'd be more than happy to contribute to the Anon cell that's doing this. If this test of concept works out, it'll be time to roll it out in the other cities. Probably on a rolling basis so we can pool resources to take out Orgs a dozen at a time.

Re: Operation: Under Siege
Good point about mini-raids; you don't need a lot of people or a lot of time/material resources! They are a hit with the public too.
Smaller, constant raids sound like a good idea to me. |

Re: Operation: Under Siege
isn't San Diego the one that closes down whenever they suspect a raid? That'd be a great spot as well.

This is a fucking GREAT idea. Target one Org at a time and watch them shrivel up.

Re: Operation: Under Siege
That where the solo quickie flashes come in. Last Sunday, I pretty much got the entire LRH building in Hollywood doing a fire drill --- Just because of me !
All I did is stand out there, tell some scary stories to the security guard, he got on the phone and they scrambled out. It's that easy. Flash early, flash often ! |
