Operation:WalSMARTs (CoS at Walmart)
The thread in general discussion is here
Long story short. Walmart has allowed the CoS to give out stress tests in their own entrance way. This is obviously a nono. Did the regional manager approve, local, HQ? Me thinks the media would eat this up even in small way = WIN. Here's the two groups I have contacted. Contact Us | WalmartWatch.com & WalMartWorkersOfAmerica.com: Tell Us Your Story Others may want to send off mails to Walmart itself, but I'd rather see them take some flack from this. here's my copy, I submitted it through their "tell your story" route. Anyone have ideas where else to harpoon? Quote:

I, as a person who despises WalMart, hope they get associated with scientology.
Fuck 'em both.

Wal-Mart is not our target. Don't get your anti capitalist views mixed into this.

OP here.
Yep lets not get mixed up in the Walmart good/bad. Lets see who will issue a statement, raise the issue, get this in the press. Go ahead and harpoon the sites I already have or find some new one.

Call the store manager, explain the wrongdoings of the church. Kick the scifags out one wall mart at a time.

Do you have a store number or what city this was in?
We can sharpen our harpoons with this.

Still, I hope that they get associated with scientology. They were made for each other. And I wasn't aware I was going off target. Just not going to do anything involving Walmart, and stating such.

Just call the store and pretend to be an enraged, offended, evangelical Christian. Just keep insisting they're Satanists for allowing a religion that rejects the Lord to operate on their property.

In California, a peddler (solicitor in US parlance) need not have permission from the landowner to execute their free speech rights on private property that's usually open for public access.

Re: Operation:WalSMARTs (CoS at Walmart)
Depending on the state Walmart may not have any choice in the matter:
Pruneyard Shopping Center v. Robins, 447 U.S. 74 (1980), was a U.S. Supreme Court decision issued on June 9, 1980 which arose out of a free speech dispute between the Pruneyard Shopping Center in Campbell, California and several local high school students.[1] In American constitutional law, the PruneYard is famous for its role in establishing two important rules: * under the California Constitution, individuals may peacefully exercise their right to free speech in parts of private shopping centers regularly held open to the public, subject to reasonable regulations adopted by the shopping centers * under the U.S. Constitution, states can provide their citizens with broader rights in their constitutions than under the federal Constitution, so long as those rights do not infringe on any federal constitutional rights This holding was possible because California's constitution contains an affirmative right of free speech which has been liberally construed by the Supreme Court of California, while the federal constitution's First Amendment contains only a negative command to Congress to not abridge the freedom of speech. The Supreme Court rejected the shopping center's argument that California's free speech right amounted to a "taking" of the shopping center under federal constitutional law. Because of the Pruneyard case, people who visit shopping centers in California may regularly encounter people seeking money or attention for various causes, including charitable solicitations, qualifying petitions for amendments to the state constitution, voter registration drives, and sometimes a beggar. In turn, many shopping centers have posted signs to explain that they do not endorse the views of people exercising their right to free speech, and that if patrons do not give them money, the speakers will go away. I was thinking about doing something similar to this when I saw a Dianetics table. Although my idea was to gather a group of anons, arrange a meeting with with store manager and complain about the harm that their exposing their customers to by allowing the Co$ guys to set up a table on their property.

Re: Operation:WalSMARTs (CoS at Walmart)
I doubt that operating "free stress" tests would count as an act of free expression in any court in the United States (though, I'm not a lawyer or a Yankfag).
If they were to demonstrate about how evil anonymous are, that might pass the legality test.
