You know that none of us (that have Javascript disabled) can post or PM since the new forum rules agreement's been implemented.

The problem is the countdown timer at the bottom of said agreement.

Pls can this be sorted asap.

The default to to deny all javascript, but you can selectively allow certain websites on the fly. It really is the best solution.

It's not javascript per se, I'd just prefer not to IP-fag myself.

Especially given that the IP logs are available to all mods and appear to be being kept indefinitely.

That's the problem...I use TOR diligently...but Javascript doesn't use the browser's IP setting. This is why Javascript IP-fags you if you're using TOR.

Use NoScript, and enable javascript for sites you trust only.

Enturbulation.org is a clear Co$ target. Therefore I'd prefer not to expose my IP address whilst using the site.

It's only a case of using a captcha or similar...it shouldn't be a biggie.

I normally use a web-based anonymizer, but it TOTALLY didn't work with the Forum Rules agreement script. The little counter on the button never moved.

TOR does though. I had no problems when I switched by anonymizing to TOR for this site. Then back to the web-based one after the cookie, or whatever it was, got written, since oddly enough the web based one I use works much faster with this site than TOR usually does.

This is retarded...yes you can sign the agreement whilst using NoScript, however you can only do so by temporarily allowing Javascript.

None, you might as well not bother using TOR in the first place.

Given that enturbs logs appear to be being kept indefinitely, this is even more of an issue. Can an admin/mod explain why I'm chatting shit, or at least answer this thread. I know you're busy, but at the minute I can't respond to PM's or post in thread's with my real account (and I'm not the only person).

You're right, the entire things retarded. I don't like running JS on here anyway as its actually quite slow.

As for getting past it I just used Firebug to edit the HTML on the fly and enable the button with no wait at all which just goes to prove once again that client side authentication s useless.

I use a Fisher-Price "My First PC".

Or you could just trust that our server is secure and your IP isn't about to be given up to CoS.

Or you could stop inserting copious amonts of JS everywhere. Its the second time that adding new JS to the site has fucked up posting.
