ive been wondering this for a while but the names of the protests always seemed to be very clever and always related to something to do with scientology. my question is who comes up with the names and where do they come up with them i had a few ideas thats all.

Group consensus. If someone suggests a name and people like it, those people start using it, and pretty soon everyone uses it. The bad names you rarely hear about because no one repeats them. ;)
