The title says it all. The full reason for my arrest and the raid on my home was to obtain and secure video evidence of my alleged assault on Sandra Hoile.

I surrendered the tapes and camcorder, and of course, they found all my medicinal cannabis stuff (which were the only charges resulting from my arrest)...

I get the tapes and camcorder back today, and they are still sealed from the time of my arrest on the 12th June - meaning the tapes have not been watched, thus nullifying the true reasons for the police raid.

Great you giot the tapes and equipment back. Freaky that they havent even watched the vids. But seems to prove that this has all been to discredit/enturbulate/tie up your time/money etc rather than to get a conviction for assault. They knew it was bullshit. Your lawyer should love this.

So, in the US, evidence obtained without a warrant can't be used in court. I assume this is the same (somewhat) in the UK? Evidence obtained through false arrest?

Seems to me like the cops were just LOOKING for a reason to bust you.

I can't believe they didn't open the bags! Hours of lulz wasted!

As others have said, keep 'em sealed and show them to your legal guys ASAP, I'm sure it will lend weight to your case.

Also, wouldn't be surprised to see a scilon copper in your local force, or at least, someone like Vicky has been kissing some serious arse at some point in time. Are you guys down there checking stuff like that out?
