Freewinds -- US Team to Clean Asbestos

Looks like an attempt to minimize the PR flap, make it difficult to see the full extent of the contaminants.

Who is doing the clean-up, are tehy Sci-Fi/WISE?

Quote:
Special team strips Freewinds of asbestos

WILLEMSTAD – A special team from the United States is working on removing the asbestos from the cruise ship Freewinds. The team is being supervised by an independent bureau from the Netherlands.

Head of Environmental Service, Tico Ras confirms the above, but doesn’t say much. The seriousness of asbestos being released during work is according to him ‘a matter of interpretation’. He nevertheless admits that readings are constantly being done that indicate the amount of asbestos, but that he does not know what the results of the readings are, and that he is busy finishing up a report.

It is in any case safe around the ship in the dry-dock. The Environmental Service is also supervising the removing of the asbestos and is making sure that this is done according to the rules. The asbestos is taken to the landfill of Selikor that has a special dump place for this.

Freewinds promised last week to give an official declaration, which they didn’t. Harbour captain Ludwig Alpes is now referring everybody to the dock company (CDM) for comments. PR-director Karin Pouw of Scientology in Los Angeles gave a reaction on the internet: “The Freewinds on a regular basis checks the air quality on board of the ship and always meets the American standards. Inspections on April 15 and 28 confirm that the air quality is safe, in accordance with the standards of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and US Clean Air Act.”

The Freewinds is undergoing a complete touchup in the dry dock. All the cabins and other accommodations are being upgraded. To comply with the tight maritime rules that become effective in 2010, also the navigation- and safety equipment is being replaced. “The true and accurate story is that the Freewinds is being restored to better than new.” The restoration is on schedule.

CDM-director Frank Esser indicated last week that the ship had till yesterday to be in dry-docking. Aside from the disputable exceeding of the asbestos standards in the air, the CDM–director blamed the Freewinds for not complying with the different procedures. A ship in dry-dock that is going to work on asbestos is required to do this with qualified people.

And still the fact there hasn't been so much as a fart from the MSM about this pisses me off.

Well at least by cleaning it up they're admitting that theres been asbestos on board for decades. Hopefully the lawyers are manning their harpoons.

Bullshit. They didn't care about the air quality, obviously, if they were willing to let the asbestos through the ventilation system for 20 years and not do anything about it.

Scilons up to their normal tricks.

The question is by who and where does thier accountability ethos place them?

Is it worth 20 million under the table to "clean-up" the records? ..... yes, yes it is.

Re: Freewinds -- US Team to Clean Asbestos

Must be an RPF team that's going to clean up the asbestos. Because the Co$ won't pay for independent contractors to clean it up properly.

Re: Freewinds -- US Team to Clean Asbestos

I have the same concern.

"A special team from the United States is working on removing the asbestos from the cruise ship Freewinds. The team is being supervised by an independent bureau from the Netherlands."

If you want to reassure people, you say "Company A is going to do it under the supervision of Company B". Both companies have a track-record, may have the corresponding authorization to do so.

Here, it could be people from the Hollywood CC RPF supervised by The Hague DSA...

We need more information.

yeah "special team from the US" sounds too much like a bunch of RPFers breathing into paper bags as they tear through blue fibrous ceiling panels. It's odd how everyone involved has clammed up - even the Enviro guy is too busy to say much.

Re: Freewinds -- US Team to Clean Asbestos

RPFers are just this side of SP anyway, wouldn't matter much to loose a few to the big C in the cults eyes. But just until all those on RPF and in the Sea Org along with a few OTVIIIs get cancer and the lawyers get a whiff of all that money the cult has under its mattress. Co$ has always put off until tomorrow what it can do today.

Special team????? The Dutch are gonna let them use RPF'ers again??? Oh good lord, how much will they get away with? How many people have to get hurt? ....Sorry, I know, rhetorical questions at best.

Let's push this into the light folks. Here is a list of TV station and newspaper emails from the largest media markets in the US, plus a few special cities and international outlets. Hit these guys with emails until someone breaks the story in the "mainstream press".

It just a matter of numbers folks. You get your message to enough people, eventually, someone will be interested enough to run with it. Just like in sales. You just have to have the numbers! Give them the freewinds story, give them this update. Tell them the fear is, without confirmation of what firm is doing the clean up work, that they will use thier own internal slave labor who are not qualified, not paid more than 50 a week and may include child workers! Here's the list, just copy and paste into your address line, semi colons included!

Ok. Guys.

TAKE OFF THE TIN-FOILED HATS!!!

Quote:
Bullshit. They didn't care about the air quality, obviously, if they were willing to let the asbestos through the ventilation system for 20 years and not do anything about it.
Last year, an American and a Norwegian company conducted an independant survey of asbestos on the Freewinds. This survey was requested by a Dutch OG and done under supervision of island authorities. They did not find any airborne traces of asbestos on the ship (including living quarters and ventilation systems).

I called the American company (AirQuest Environmental - Air Quality Consultancy - Serving Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Boca Raton, Palm Beach, Naples, Sarasota , Tampa and the state of Florida) and they confirmed they did this survey. I also ran all employees of this company through the Scientology Completions List. They don't appear to be Scion owned.

Hence, it seems that Tommy-boy and other passengers were NOT exposed to asbestos.

Quote:
Must be an RPF team that's going to clean up the asbestos. Because the Co$ won't pay for independent contractors to clean it up properly.
The AirQuest company is doing this work. All employees are in Curacao at the moment according to the office manager). She also said they are doing this together with three other specialized companies.

Edit: the letter of the Dutch authorities on this survey is halfway through this page: Operation Clambake Message Board :: View topic - New article about abestos on the Freewinds

Seriously, *why are they allowed to get away with this????????* If this were a public company and not a Church Organization, you'd be damned sure they'd have to explain themsleves.

I'll do my part to email.
