open letter to anonymous
I didn't see this posted yet, so hope it isn't old news.
this Gloss lip letter showed up on Google news search. GlossLip An Open Letter To Anonymous Reading it jogged my memory. She was talking about how the church took down the Cult Awareness Network (CAN) I happened to be at the CoS event many years ago where David Miscarriage was bragging about that. What I didn't see in the letter was something else DM was bragging about. He said that they won all the CAN assets in a judgement after bankrupting them, and then staffed the phones at CAN with their OWN PEOPLE, instead of closing it down. He was joking about how when somebody calls CAN they get a Scilon on the phone saying how nasty all the other cults are, but how much caek gets served up at Scilon facilities. What an asshole. I wonder if they are still running that little scam even today? |

Re: open letter to anonymous
New CAN is still alive and well. their current activities are mostly based around discrediting "deprogrammers" and the anti-cult movement in general. oh, and explaining how AUM was the work of psychiatrists.

Re: open letter to anonymous
I see. I hadn't heard of aum before. I thought the reference was to anxiety/uncertainty management, which was most likely wikipedia possibility.
Then I followed your link and felt like I always do when I read their shit. Like I needed a shower. I won't miss them. |
