OSA: "Marvin Gaye leader of Anonymous"

OSA Netherlands was kind enough to email this to the Dutchfags gmail account a couple of months ago. It’s a flyer apparently intended both for Anonymous and for the general public. The thing includes some epic footbullets and is definitely worth a read – if just for the unheard of amount of intelligence fail. Sauce has been verified, anon’s commentary in italics.

We waited a few months to post this in full, hoping to fool OSA into thinking they actually had some sensitive information on us… we made fancy blurred versions of the letter to post on the wiki, and acted extra super butthurt on IRC when the spais were around. It worked like a charm, and Julia Rijnvis hopefully spent the past couple months thinking we were shitting ourselves over her detective work. We got confirmation today that this flyer is still being handed out to random tourists, potential new Scilons and anyone who mentions Anonymous inside the Org.

OSA: You’ve been TROLLED!

This is the second time they’ve done this: OSA Amsterdam already wrote an “information letter” in April to hand out during our raids. Anonymous immediately created a counter version, which we distributed to Scilons at the next mini-raid. They did not look happy.

Anyway, here’s a full translation of the second letter, which exposes the leaders of Anonymous.

Some of the most notable footbullets:

1. No denial of the fact that Narconon is Scientology. CoS Amsterdam never really got that memo, it seems.
2. The photographer mentioned in the first few paragraphs (John Melskens) is just that – a photographer. He likes Anonymous and hangs out at our raids. Interestingly, the quotes included about him were lifted from our IRC channel. Thanks for admitting you’ve been spying on us, OSA!
3. The picture of "Wu Kapauw" (who, for the record, doesn’t actually exist) is Marvin Gaye.
Both the name and the photograph were meant to be obviously fake, and we hadn't even considered that OSA would take them seriously. Never underestimate a gullible cult.
4. Gerrit Wammes (the source quoted in the bit on OG Jeta Eggers) is a notorious schizophrenic mystic who thinks God talks to him directly. He spams the Dutch version of A.R.S. almost daily about Jeta using a whole cast of pseudonyms. Quoting him as a reliable source looks about as professional as quoting, say, Sylvia Browne.

Scans of the letter (scanned for us by CoS):

Quote:
In continuation of our first information letter about the group of masked students who call themselves "Anonymous", we delve deeper into the driving forces behind these masks. Some research has shown that four individuals have stepped forward as its "leaders". The image that forms is, to say the least, shocking, while we haven't even finished our public investigation into these four individuals.

First, there is John Melskens, a photographer, who became more and more isolated due to his reputation as a troublemaker and instigator and quit the local SP (Socialist Party) right before he would have been kicked out. The city council of Amsterdam North still don’t enjoy his presence, because according to anonymous sources, he behaved like a bull in a china shop during his short political career. In an Article in “het Parool” on March 17th 2004, Melskens is called "The worst mud-slinger of North Amsterdam" by civil servants.

Melskens attempted a new start in politics with his List Melskens, which eventually died a slow death. Not surprising, because Melskens' Hyves [Dutch MySpace clone] site tells us that he is in favour of keeping Casa Rosso, a well-known brothel in Amsterdam, open. This line of work is well known for its exploitation of women and connections to the mafia, so why should Casa Rosso be allowed to stay in business? Of course he then attacks Scientology. Scientology promotes monogamous marriage, no sexual excesses, and loyalty. Talking to two female members of Anonymous, [moar like spying in our IRC channel] we discovered that they consider Melskens "a dirty old man", more interested in their breasts and butts than in protesting. Even more reason to continue our research into the dealings of Melskens.

The next "leader" is Wu Kapauw. Kapauw hacks into Hyves sites of Scientologists [wut?] to leave his photo behind, and someone recently warned us that he registered a website providing a false name and address to the provider. The phone number he provided belongs to a hotel manager from Waalwijk, who wants to press charges. [moar blatant lie.] Any results will be published in our next newsletter.

About our third "leader", Karin Spaink [OG who won the xs4all Fishman trials], we can say that she prefers to work behind the scenes as a person who steps up for the weak. What's really going on behind this façade we can only guess at, when we read about her promoting Ritalin for children on her website. Ritalin is called "kiddie cocain" in the United States because this "medicine" against ADHD is so addictive, and helps many kids from the frying pan into the fire. Rehab clinics in the Netherlands see more and more teens knocking at their doors because they became addicted after having been prescriped Ritalin. On February 17th of this year, Spaink was called the "Suicide Guru" of Europe in British media, for propagating 40 different ways to commit suicide on her website. [Karin is a prominent member of Catch The Bus]. In the article from the Daily Telegraph it is speculated that people like Spaink have caused a wave of suicides among teens in Europe. [which got rectified, which we already discussed with Scientology] It is, obviously, very dangerous to provide suicide "help" to suicidal or temporarily depressed teenagers, because most of them are going through a (temporary) depression that they can get through with proper assistance. Especially youths should be protected from these practices.

It is logical that this messenger of death is opposed to Scientology, because it promotes the exact opposite and believes that help is possible until the very last moment.

The fourth "leader" is Jan Eggers, who also goes by the name Jeta. [OG who raids with us. great guy!] Eggers' lack of popularity is evident from the website - Ik ben Jeta Eggers, made about him by one Gerrit Wammes, who calls him a "boozing weed gnome" and "dangerous madman". [bonus game: guess what Jeta’s new nick on IRC is! :D] We don't know anything about the booze or the weed, but what we do know is that Eggers has forged autographs on a letter that supposedly came from the founder of Scientology, L. Ron Hubbard, and forged an authograph of the head of External Affairs of the Church of Scientology. [crime in question can be found here. so obviously fake and for the lulz that it hurts.] These letters' only purpose was to ridicule Scientology.

Eggers joined the Church in 1979 and bought a few books, then started a one-man anti-religious foundation [his cult exit legal councelling gig, which has helped quite a few people leave CoS. OSA misspelled "one-man foundation".] in March 1980, while still pretending to be an interested member of the church in July. Scientology puts great importance in norms and values (ethics). And, like in Buddhism, there is a fundamental principle in Scientology that states: "Doing good has its reward", and it is impossible to step onto the bridge to personal freedom if one is dishonest and doesn't follow the rules of ethics. The consequences for Eggers are obvious, because he has shown himself as an individual consumed by an inner hatred, who has been dug up by others to attack Scientology once again.

Scientology has helped thousands of people in the Netherlands to improve their lives and those of others. It has helped people get rid of drugs, saved marriages and even lives. [very bad syntax.] It doesn't deserve to be defamed by a bunch of agitators providing false information to the public.

We call for Anonymous to look at the dealings of their so-called leaders, and to ask themselves who and what they "support", instead of blindly assuming everything they are told is true.

We are always prepared to talk individually to unmasked, honest "anonymous" members. [and when an anonette walked into the Org to ask for a free DVD, she was locked in and physically restrained. not going to fall for that one again!]
All I can say is... got to give it up, OSA. Got to give it uuuup~~

With their level of pay, I'm not surprised by this level of intelligence.

Do you think it's possible to bribe one to switch sides?

So THATS why Marvin hasn't returned my email requests for more info...

well, that and I imagine having died about 24 years ago kind of introduces some lag time, too.

So at what point does their stupidity fold back on itself and makes them smart? I mean, that has to be their plan, right?

I thought Scientology was supposed to raise IQ levels. Just how low were these people's IQs before they started? They still aren't as smart as a 5th grader!

If Marvin Gaye is the leader, why isn't "Let's get it on" playing during raids?

Other MG songs (some he only wrote, didn't sing):

Ain't That Peculiar
Joy
Baby Don't You Do It
Can I Get A Witness
What's Goin On
What's The Matter With You Baby
If This World Were Mine
God Is Love
I Heard It Through The Grapevine
It Takes Two
Wholy Holy
Save the Children
What's Happening Brother
What's The Matter With You Baby
Mercy Mercy Me
The End Of Our Road
Try It Baby

How can OSA get mad when they're getting down?
