Anonymous Boston Leader Now Well Known

Anonymous has become well known for protesting in Guy Fawkes masks, inspired by the comic book and movie V for Vendetta.

Trying to enforce the fact that namefagged individuals aren't part of Anonymous accomplishes nothing from a legal standpoint; if it looks like a duck and it sounds like a duck, it's a duck. No lawyer is going to take your forum post and use it to prove in court that Gregg isn't in Anonymous.

With respect Eff, a lot of people cannot get there is an Anonymous as oppose to anonymous; I am always explaining it, even to officials. We may understand the difference but a lot of people don't.

All this is there an Anonymous, is he a member, is he a leader is probably moot. It's more likely to do with how much personal responsibility Greg has for what happens during the protest because he applied for the permits; I am guessing not much as one charge has already been dropped because it wasn't him. I hope he has good representation and gets off with it as he should. From my reckoning they are going to have to demonstrate that he actually did the acts they accuse the other protestors of. To say he is a leader of a group of which some individuals committed some acts of which they have no tangible evidence of is probably not going to, and certainly shouldn't, fly. The lawyer keeps talking in generalities "they" did this "they" did that. The only thing I would be concerned about "eye witnesses" because Scilons lie at the drop of a hat.

If I were in Boston I would be at the Court and be offering moral support and I would hope his friends and fellow protestors in Boston do exactly that.

Frankly, as with anyone who is name fagged in such a fashion and as the article says, he is a hero and should take his place with Mark Bunker, Tory Christman and the rest of the non-anonymous protestors.

Also, Anonymous is not meant to be understood. People will see in Anonymous what they want to.

Anonymous is the ultimate mind fuck. You can tell what kind of person you're dealing with by their reaction to the concept of Anonymous.

I have a question about the "protest permit" application that Gregg had to sign. Was it a City of Boston Public Event Application, or some other form? Why is this permit needed for a sidewalk demonstration?
