Philadelphia Scientology's Protest FAIL

As those on enturb may know, Philadelphia is staging its protest on the 13th and not the 12th because the $cilons got their hands on the permit before we did. Rest assured that we have learned a great deal from this experience and that it will not happen again.

Anyway, a group of us went out to check out their "protest" and what did we find? Needless to say, Philadelphia's Civil Affairs couldn't have been very happy. WIN.

they got what they wanted still. they wanted to avoid you guys and throw off your plans for the day and i worked. i hope today goes better!

They did manage to set up a table and hand out fliers for a while (2 hours?). Philly Anons stood at the corners of the street and dished out over 9000 hugs to anyone, especially those who took fliers. We call this: "Hugs for smut!" I think we intercepted the vast majority of ppl who took fliers and warned many more not to take any.

Yeah, they gave up pretty quickly as you can see.

Jesus Christ. How the hell do they get away with this kind of bullshit?

I can't wait to get to the protest today...PhillyAnons are SO FUCKING CASH. And I'm bringing our super new Anon flag!!!

BTW, is that a place where they hold their 'sunday services', cause that's going to be more enturbulating for them than if you were there on Sat? ;)

I don't think so. Don't permits get denied if the ones filing for it don't do what they applied for? It's possible that they won't be able to receive another permit the next time around, and that would be epic lulz.

So their protest was not a protest at all, but an attempt to block the right of freedom of speech. One cool thing to do would be to write a little letter to the city with this picture and inform them that the CoS is taking out protest permits, falsely claiming to want to protest, but only seeking to deprive other's right to protest the CoS's assault on free speech.

Looks like that CoS office is selling "Drugs."

Sounds good, may not do much, but it's worth a shot.

wasn't this the one where anon actually had a permit but it was cancelled in favour of the scilons one, or something?

if so, noise should definitely be made, and future protests should go forward perfectly. not only is it demonstratable that the CoS doesn't want to protest, just stop us from doing it, but also people don't like being manipulated, which the city has been, and they'll not look to kindly on CoS from now on.
