My brothers and sisters,

I am pleased to join with you today in what will go down in history as the start of a new chapter in world history.

A faceless, nameless, leaderless group only connected through ideas and the information super highway has borne upon the world one of the most rapidly growing insurgenccy forces seen in the 21st century.

The future belongs to those who prepare for it today. One hundred years from now, will the society we live in be crippled by the manacles of censorship and the chains of ignorance? One hundred years later, the will your voice live on a lonely island of silence in the midst of a vast ocean of copyright content? One hundred years later, will the network we protect still languishing in the corners of American hypocrisy. So we have come here today to dramatize an appalling condition. A corporation that has the legal means to censor you, to censor the network, a corporation that abuses it’s members and uses the legal system not a shield, but, as a weapon of terror.

On January 21, 2008, on Youtube, an anonymous user posted a video vowing to put an end to the inaliable human rights abuses of Church of Scientology - an organization that bullies and terrorizes its own members, the government of the United States, the media, and will stop at nothing to destroy those who speak out against it.

That historic video and the words within came as a great beacon light and hope to millions of citizens of the internet.

It called to arms a generation that has no wars worth fighting for.

It called to us to wake up, to become aware.

It galvanized us.

Three months ago, we were described as basement dwellers, hackers on steroids, bored kids from abusive families, religious bigots, Nazis, the KKK, minions of evil psychiatrists, and, best of all, space alien terrorists.

I see none of these here today. What I see is the future.

Make no mistake. This is a revolution of all the children of the internet. Wherever you came from, wherever you heard the call, all that is important is that you are here and you are not going away until your voice has been heard.

It would be fatal for the nation to underestimate our determination. The year 2008 is not the end. It is the beginning. Those who hope that Anonymous will be content with just blowing off steam will have a rude awakening. The whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of the cult until their day of justice is at hand.

Some of you have come here out of great trials and tribulations. Some of you have come fresh from joining our cause. Some of you have been working tirelessly for months to make these events occur. Some of you have come from social groups where your quest for knowledge left you battered by the storms of persecution. You have been the veterans of creative suffering. Continue to work with the faith that unearned suffering is redemptive. You are making a difference.

Our freedom is inexplicably tied with this fight, with this war. Within the dismantlement of the church lies our greatest achievement thus far. -

A message to the world that we as a whole are a force to be reckoned with.

Go back to your forums,
go back to your blogs,
go back to your image boards,
go back to whatever dark places you come from on the internet.

Know that this war can and will be won.

We are the force of a new generation.
We are the internet incarnate.
We are the force of ideas.
Spread the good news like wildfire that Anonymous can and will prevail.

I love the spirit of that speech with its positive creative outlook.

I have a sneaking suspicion that in some as yet unknown way Anonymous is making history.

The Hologram Matrix of the Universe is smilingly responding to Anons' lulz and purposefulness.

I was just reminiscing how many parallels between Anon and Fight Club there were the other day, save for the insane shit that Fight Club did.

Anon = Fight Club - guns - explosives - violence - soap from body fat + lulz + delicious cake

Absolutely. We have taken many of the themes of Fight Club and gone a step (or two) further.

It was very dramatic, but also very broad and encompassing. We need to make sure that we do not send the message that we are going to solve every problem in the world, nor that we are going to be some kind of hero in the future's dystopia. Currently, we're fighting $cientology and we need to stick to that.

We can do the other stuff later :)

I don't see what your talking about. The speach was awesome to listen too, I got all of it expect for the first few sentences recorded and I will be posting it later this week.

All he was saying was that the focus of the speech was a tad broad. While there's nothing necessarily wrong with that per se, it opens up the door to criticism from Co$ that we are plotting world domination, which isn't the case at all. But you see how it can be taken out of context and spun?

Pro tip for future: Speeches like this are ok, but it would do you well to keep the topic narrower so that it's harder for Co$ to reframe it to make us look bad.

It's almost worth writing these speeches on purpose.

Then reverse slam dunk the fact that they really do have the intention of world domination "clear the planet" = "everyone is a scientologist" and theirs is not taken out of context, that is really what they are aiming for.
