Awesome job Toronto Anon!
That 20$ was clearly an honorarium from a member of the psychiatrist/pharmaceutical industry regional headquarters. Nudge nudge wink wink |

Re: Toronto Anonymous: Mini raid for Bookathon weekend
Okay, we need to have a serious discussion about the eggs . . .
I've been thinking about this for awhile. way back, I got a interesting tidbit of information from one of my students who had actually been in the TO org last summer -- she got a tour of the first two floors, and while on the 2nd floor, her gf had to use the bathroom and ended up on the third floor. What as up there? rows of bunkbeds, to which the Scilon said, yes, that's the bunks for staff so, now put this together with the eggs -- this is a huge clue (imho) why would a business that is not in the food industry need a weekly deliver of hundreds of eggs? why would a building that is not zoned for residential use need all those eggs? perhaps a well-placed call to the city building inspector is in order? |

Re: Toronto Anonymous: Mini raid for Bookathon weekend
So, today, this lady comes up to us:
"I was walking by the scientology building one day, and this guy comes out from inside and says to me "you're pretty, can I buy your underwear?" So creepy" lulz Conclusion: CoS wants your underwear.

Anyway, I'm gonna put up a thread about emailing the University of Oxford's medical college about the 'Oxford Capacity Analysis' these fags have on their business cards. It implies that Oxford University supports their methods. I doubt this very much. |

Re: Toronto Anonymous: Mini raid for Bookathon weekend
Well, I emailed the University of Oxford's Head of Psychiatry about the business cards. Let's hope some uber-scientists bring the pwn.

Re: Toronto Anonymous: Mini raid for Bookathon weekend
My email is as follows, btw. To Prof. John Geddes:
My apologies if you are already aware of this, Professor. Today I passed by the 'Church' of Scientology in Toronto, which was offering 'personality tests'. Having seen that this group is very controversial and that a group of individuals were protesting outside, I took note and didn't enter after reading the business card that the gentleman gave me. Apparently their personality tests are named 'Oxford Capacity Analysis' tests, as a method of determining via a series of questions, whether their 'alternative to psychiatry'/'religion' is right for the passer-by. After a quick google search this afternoon, I found out for sure, according to my suspicions, that they have nothing to do with the University of Oxford at all. In fact, they appear to have copyrighted the term 'Oxford Capacity Analysis'. I am providing a link to a scan of one of their graphs, which, after a quick search, appears to be presented incorrectly as a line graph instead of a bar graph, considering how the information is put into it. At the top, one can see the title 'Oxford Capacity Analysis', implying that this test of personality is linked to the University of Oxford and especially its Psychiatry department. http://i28.tinypic.com/nyz98y.jpg (This is an image of the business card's reverse. The quality should be good enough.) http://i32.tinypic.com/2dtsu2v.jpg (The front, using the term 'Scientometric' inappropriately, it seems.) This appears to be an appropriation of your good name and should perhaps be spoken out against. I know I'll be joining these folks next time. Thank you for your time. |
