Re: Born into scientology, my story.

Reading this, I realise how difficult it is to explain to people exactly what Scientology does to people. At the protests, when asked by the public what CoS was doing wrong, they'd just say "Scientology kills" and give them a leaflet. Now I understand that we need more than that; for people escaping Scientology to put their testimonies together, to show these testimonies to their governments, and, because the individual needs so much sway to have effect, we need this en masse.

Thank you for telling us your story :)

Re: Born into scientology, my story.

Thankyou so much for sharing this. I can't even begin to understand how hard it would have been for you to write this, but thankyou. I'm glad to hear you'll be coming to a protest with us in the UK, and even though you'll be masked and I won't know who you are, I'll be rooting for you and your bravery, as well as all the other ex-scientologists out there.

This is it. This is why we're fighting.
This has also changed my view of the Freezone. It's dangerous to see things in black and white.
Generally, Freezone is probably slightly safer, if only because it 1) doesn't seem to be quite as crazed for money as Co$ and 2) is far too fragmented to pull off the scary shit Co$ has over the years.
I haven't read enough of the tech to really know if it's dangerous, but I definitely will. In short - Stay on target, and focus on the Co$. We'll cross that bridge after we burn L. Ron's bridge. :lrhtalking:

Re: Born into scientology, my story.

An0nand0n, thank you again for the interview and taking the time and effort to put it up on YouTube! The more people who come forward and say what happened to them because of the cult the better; the efforts of people to record and document our experiences is hugely appreciated.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments and time taken to read about what's happened to people because of the cult, and most especially thank you everyone and anyone who's put time and energy into telling the truth and protesting against scientology. Change is finally in the air and, damn, it's a good feeling.
