My first protest and thread

Ok. Not long heard about Scientology and what it is all about. But Stuart is getting me on the right track and helping me find things to read. Needless to say I was shocked when I looked into it more. Took me a while to do anything about it but I got there eventually.

My first task - 20th June. Undercover Agent going into the Org as a perspective volunteer. I had so much adrenalin pumping around me it was unreal. I met Stuart in town and he wired me up with secret cam's and wished me luck. After negotiating my way throu town and taking a few really deep breaths I went in. I introduced myself and had a good look around, filled in their aplication form and went into the dark depths of the Org to watch a film about it all. I was led in and the door was closed behind me. I watched the video getting more and more bored and slightly panicking that they had locked the door or one of them was going to recognise me. So I text Stuart and asked for a backup phone call in around fifteen minutes. This worked well. I got the phone call, made my excuses and then panicked and started shaking. There were a lot of them in the building and i was getting nervous that it was taking Mark a while to let me go. But I did ask him a few questions about the protesters and why they were there....I swear there was tumbleweed, he had no good answers for my questions. So I walked out of the Org smiling at the guys sat down and saying hello. Very shakilly walked down to meet Stuart phoning him on the way. Couldn't stop smiling and the adrenalin buzz just wouldn't ease up. Just waiting on the final touches before I become a Youtube star

My second task - 21st June. To actually attend a protest My first protest was good fun. Rained a little but we had re-enforcements from Manchester and a really cool parot. Needless to say, when we were all outside the Org I was spotted by Vicky Boyce - her face was a picture. She looked stunned.
I felt great despite my hangover and carried on leafletting and smiling. roll on next Saturday

The video won't be finished tonight I'm afraid. Its half subtitled, but I'm relapsing hard tonight - zero energy... (keep falling asleep) but I'm getting there (good things come to those who wait etc.). The audio quality was very poor for this raid, so I have to keep listening to each section many times with headphones. Plus my computer is not behaving...

I just wanted to add that after Billie went in to the org, we both went for a coffee in town. As Billie was getting the drinks inside Costa's Coffee, I was waiting outside, and saw the stress-test cart pass me, being pushed by Ryan and Viv. The noticed me, and smirked smugly in my general direction....

.... after Billie and I finished our drinks, I gave her a lift back to mine on my scooter, and went past the stress-test cart with Billie on my lap... and the look on Ryan's face was classic :)

Like those have said before, an "accomplice" would be advisable......although a cam does count for 1/8 of one. You need someone on "the lookout".

While she was in the org, I was waiting outside the shopping centre, and could see the front entrance of the org. My mobile was by my side, and I was ready to whiz off to the org to rescue Billie should I get an SOS text/call from her.

Regarding her ovaries of steel, we used to go out with each other, and we have been good friends both before our stint as a couple, and also since we separated (2 years? damn)... Lets just say that she is my ideal sidekick ;)

I'll try to get the video finished tomorrow.

:) Well I have been smiling a lot looking at all the posts. Thanks Stuart - you never fail to make me laugh. I am astonished at the words of "omfg" and praise etc.... This has definately been good for me and finally doing something worth wile. Going over to Stuart's to see the vid in a bit. fingers crossed.
