Reading it jogged my memory. She was talking about how the church took down the Cult Awareness Network (CAN)

I happened to be at the CoS event many years ago where David Miscarriage was bragging about that. What I didn't see in the letter was something else DM was bragging about.

He said that they won all the CAN assets in a judgement after bankrupting them, and then staffed the phones at CAN with their OWN PEOPLE, instead of closing it down. He was joking about how when somebody calls CAN they get a Scilon on the phone saying how nasty all the other cults are, but how much caek gets served up at Scilon facilities.

What an asshole. I wonder if they are still running that little scam even today?
