Once again It's time to build our global protest directory.

For those of you who are new to Enturb, each month we work together to create a directory with the details (time, place etc) for each city's raid in the upcoming global protest.

This can't happen without your help. We need you to post your city's details ASAP so that new people can find their way to the protest (not to mention your city's decentralized planning site....you do have a local planning site, right? If you don't, consider starting one).

Don't say "someone should put our details up," DO IT NAO!!

In light of recent events, the staff would like to assure everyone that abuse of mod powers won't be tolerated. This includes the outing of sock puppets (which are perfectly fine to have) when users are posting Anonymously, or otherwise. Or, Anonymous posting itself.

Yesterday (8/1/2008), there was a report that Gunslinger had abused his mod powers to reveal sock poppets of two users in the Dome. Immediately upon receiving this report, Poppins demodded him. This can serve as a reminder that if you see behavior from anyone on the forum you deem unacceptable (including that from staff), please don't hesitate to let any of us know.

Our Email System Works Again.

What this Means is that all New User's Require Email Confirmation Again.

What this also means is that if we send your account, and it bounces, our system will automatically move your account into the "Users Requiring Email Confirmation" group.

What this means is you will not be able to post until you change your email in your UserCP to a valid email, and click on the confirmation link you get.

We are doing this because it will help cut back on Spam Accounts and Other Bogus Accounts. The main reason however, is that Alot of free mailing lists require you to remove a person from your mailings if your emails to them bounce. And that continued emailing to them can cause your email to get flagged as spam in their entire system.

Seriously. The FBI wants to hear from you. And other anons, exes and OGs have put their neck on the line by going - don't let them down by sitting on something that would help the feds make a case.

Please cross-post it to any local anon sites, and mention it on any forums you post on. And if the thread is on page 2 when you read it, bump it. It deserves it. And the extra views/post count on the thread will get it more attention, which it deserves.
