Bill Clinton met with John Travolta at the White House when John Travolta was filming Primary Colors. The story goes that Bill made nice with Travolta and Scientology in exchange for Travolta portraying Bill Clinton and Hillary in a good light in the movie.
With the Clintons being total dirty politics players, who knows what else was promised.
The tax exemption from the IRS did happen under Clinton's watch and he could have intervened but did not.
