i hate to be an ass, but if i have to watch another video of timelapse scenery, with a voice emulator narrator, saying whats basically already been said over 9000 times...

i don't know. i probably wont do anything but bitch, but honestly... can we get some originality? the first video was good. it captured a wonderful tone, and was sufficiently menacing. but after the onslaught of copycats (a lot of which showcasing a grammatical ability which is about on par with an 8th grader)...i have to wonder if scientology is even listening anymore. i try to watch them all because i love this movement, but really... i only ever make it about 30 seconds in before all i hear is robotic whitenoise. "leaders of scientology...blah blah...atrocities...blah blah...fair game....blah blah...we will not fail...blah blah...legion...etc" they ALL hit the same points, in the same irritating voice and robotic cadence, with the same background video.

i'm not knocking you for contributing. not at all. continue to do so! it's appreciated. but do we really need a synthesized voice to remain anonymous?

this guy did different well, and while some may argue that he has no idea what he's talking about, at least he can say he was talking. he was on camera. he was speaking. he remains anonymous WITHOUT robotifying himself.

anyways.. thats just my thoughts on the issue. i very well may suck cocks.

can we move on from the age of voice emulators and timelapse? repetitive videos are repetitive. cocks.

There really is no need. Good editing and text is one option, or even your own voice (a "voice-over artist" did it) as used by Pelvidar recently.

but keep in mind that i am not knocking anything that has been made and have pointed out that every effort is certainly appreciated. all i am suggesting is that future video move past the era of clouds and robots.

that's like saying "if don't like the music make your own". some of us aren't musicians, yeah maybe we took a couple piano classes in elementary school but we just can't write anything better then some of the disposable pop stars out there, but still. fuck them fuck voice emulators, if you want to do something do it right, and leave idea copying to the japanese.

no, seriously. i think it'd be easier to make one of these videos than write a song. but maybe that's just cos i actually did have some education on the topic more recently than elementary school. i'm a little rusty, but i'll see about picking up a camera and getting back into the swing of it in time for may 10th...
and i'll keep the voice emulator thing in mind.

I must say, I really do like the, "Who Is Anonymous" video a lot better... On the other hand, the time-lapse videos and voice emulators have become somewhat of a recognizable "brand." The enunciation, pronunciation, and speech rhythm leave a lot to be desired, but in a way, it's even more ominous... I like all of the videos that have been made by various Anony-drones of the hive. Some more than others, but IMHO, it's all good.

I just use a synth voice because I hate to hear back the sound of my own voice - and because it's simpler to fiddle with a text without having to spend ages recording and rerecording it.
