Who all is going this time?
Going to be held at the same time/place as far as i know [Trade + Tryon, 11AM]

I will be attending, however just in the nick of time - I'm returning from a trip the day before, So I may be a bit tired.

The turnout was fair last time, however, I am certain we can have much more attend on the 12th then on the 15th of march. Rally every anon in Charlotte for the cause!

Also, we will need someone to get a permit for the protest. And, I jumped on the music box on the 15th... and then it got wet, so no more rickrolling from us.

I'm going no matter what this time. I missed out last time due to March just came and punched me in the face and I had nothing prepared and I lost my job. (think he was a sci). Also a friend of mine who I never see came saturday so I had to cancel. I thought about bringing him, but he would be too lazy and doesn't know anything that's going on.

But I'll be there no matter what on the 12th. Mark my words!

But about the 10th did we have to pick up early due to the parade?

Also IRC is not connecting to the server so I can't get on.

location is intersection of N.Tryon & trade street in downtown. its where the 4 statues are. hope see u there!

OK so my friend and I will be returning for sure, I think my girlfriend is going to come this time. She wanted to be there last time but her and her mom were doing stuff that weekend. I'm going to try to put up a bunch of fliers around campus and try to get more people to come, as well as spam my friends. I'll try not to forget to bring my video camera this time, so we can have more awesome YouTube videos.

Also does anyone remember if we need a permit to protest and if we do if we already have one? Talk to you all later.

I'll definitely be returning! I'm the anon who had the broken umbrella on the 15th. Been to both protests.

I would love to join everyone for the April protest, but after noticing that most of the people in the pictures from the 3/15 rally are either bare faced or just wearing sunglasses, I came to the conclusion that our proud state / city must have some sort of legislation against full-face masks and the like. And, well, honestly I don't feel secure with regard to protesting SciO without the ability to hide more of my face.

I would just like congratulate everyone on their work so far. I'll dedicate myself to distributing cards and pamphlets around my current local.

Keep up the good fight!

Gonna be there atleast one person coming along who has never been. Maybe more if I can pursuade them! I wanna get a hundred people there this time!

Honestly we haven't had much trouble with Scilons in Charlotte. The reason is probably because we protest a few blocks away from the actual Scientology place for foot traffic. You can wear sunglasses and a hat (a lot of us don't, a lot of us do) which is more than enough to cover up.

Has anyone tried posting flyers around the Charlotte Metro in rather unintrusive places? (i.e. light posts, etc.) This might be a good idea for a mini-preraid operation, to get the word out again for the April 12th protest.

I have been plastering the huntersville area with fliers but I've noticed that they have been taken down from billboards, or people have just been taking them quickly. As far as the University area goes, I have not gone to the UNC Charlotte campus yet. I've got a busy schedule so I'm trying my best to do what I can.

Was there a table/booth that people could browse through at the prostest last time? If not maybe we should arrange one to be set up. It might make us more approachable if we have a set area for info to the public. I saw alot of passerbys saying that we were scientologists and other things that werent true so maybe we could get the most informed people to man/woman the table and talk to people who might approach? I think alot of people see us as confrontational with everyone standing there and alot of the signs at the protests are either not specific enough or irrelevant in my opinion. So my suggestion is more consistancy in this aspect......Hmmm?

I had a great time there. I was also very glad our point got across, if somewhat vaguely.

And Yes! I will be there for the next one! This time I will make a cooler sign and maybe, just maybe, bring a full CD of lulzy tracks. Oh and (with luck) a functional CD player!!!

Laughing Man reporting. So far I have created 2 Anons, with hopefully enough for at least half of a full squad on the way.

I know that initially it seems antithetical, but there will be my 'personal' anonymous. Anonymous to you, but sort of like added security for me, what with my requirement of travel and all. I'd go to Atlanta but I'm wary of the possible attitudes the law enforcement will have towards me. Does anyone else think that it's maskless anons that are targeted? I think anyone that perhaps outsiders interpret masklessness as some sort of hierarchical structure...
