Hey there, I live in Montreal and I just realized that the protests were happening in Montreal also about a week or two ago. I'm a huge supporter of this and want to attend. Are the exact details for when(I know April 12th, but like what time) Where (Street, metro, place...Anything) And any other info... If there are can someone either post them up here in 1 post or even better would be to just e-mail it to me, which would make it easier :) -> the.13371355.one@gmail.com

if you are near a bus stop with a bus shelter. create a two foot or so sized Anonymous suit logo, or the logo of your choice, out of paper or bristol board. put on website of your choice and April 12th. under dead of night, or whatever time you have free, tape to bus shelter. added suggestion, put up a tear off sheet with URLs next to it so people don't have to write down the websites.

i'm gonna do this for the bus stops near me probably either this weekend or mid-week

of course it'll get ripped down or defaced probably pretty fast, but if the general public see it on their way to work/class, mission accomplished.

The stickers that I put up in bus shelters around my house have already been taken off

We meet up at 11:00-11:15 at the corner of papineau and rachel (basically, the corner of the park) then walk to the org around 11:30-11:45.

Bring your sign / signs. If you are paranoid you may wish to cover them with garbage bags or something till you get to the park.

Wear a mask/face covering so you cant be recognized. Even in the cab/bus/metro ride over. Even in the cab/bus/metro ride home. Dont bring your car, they do tend to take pictures of license plates. Definitely be wearing a mask before you get to the park. Assume that once you get in the area, there will be people taking pictures of you (especially if you're carrying what looks like a sign)
Wear clothing you wouldn't normally wear. For example if you wear a blue jacket normally, come wearing something black/red/you get the idea. Comfortable shoes are a must.

Bring fliers if you can afford it, dont assume someone else will bring them for you. If you can afford it bring enough to share with the people who didnt bring any. There are some available in this thread, make sure your flyers are in french and english, or just french.

Obey law enforcement at all times. be polite to everyone. Take your cues from fellow anons. But that's just common sense.

final point: if this is your first protest and you dont know much about the Co$, hold your sign on the roadside with the bulk of the horde and try to get honks from traffic. Hand out flyers if you dont mind answering some questions from the public but remember If you're handing our flyers on disconnection/fair game/Co$ crimes, whatever, people will expect you to be able to explain it to them further. But if you ever find yourself in a spot where you dont know something, just tap a fellow anon to help you out.
The street corners are the place to be to answer questions from the public while they wait for their light to change. I've found the public are very receptive and curious. They're also the place to be for a wide variety of questions. Anons who are very knowledgable, chatty and friendly do excellent jobs talking to public on the corners.
