Changing outfits

When and where is the best time and place to change an outfit from public to the anonymous get-up? How difficult is this if Scientologists are following? Also, what articles of clothing should be changed indubitably? New hair style, a hat?

I was thinking of wearing an overcoat or lab coat to cover up all my clothes, so I can change quickly. Maybe I can display protest fliers like a creepy salesman.

General rule - as far away as possible.

"Anon -> public" is more cell specific. "As far away as possible" isn't practical, as you don't want to draw too much attention to yourself. But far enough away that it's safe.

Favorite trick: Grab a taxi. Get as far as possible using the roads with the highest traffic. Get out somewhere lonely and enter an apartment building's parking space. Make sure that no one is watching before you enter. Go behind it or into the stairway if the door isn't locked.

Taxis work best, or ducking into a public restroom or something. Getting away in disguise is like staying in a police chase: the longer you stay in it the more likely you are to get caught. It's not like a man in a mask can lose him/her self in the crowd.

Depending on the city, public transport can work - many London anons change and mask up on the tube on the way to the protest.

Just remember that if you demask and change back there after the protest, take a few changes etc to throw off any spais first.
