Tom Cruise in Chicago May5th for Oprah Interview.

Mr Cruise is returning to Oprah's show in the very near future. Looks like - and probably simply is - just a kind of celebration of some anniversary for his career. Show biz is still just show biz after all.

But a few thoughts ran through my mind when I read it, especially after watching Beghe's interview. Everything from this being the Cruise camp's idea on orders from the dwarf to Oprah getting closer to the cult to the "other guests" being other Scientologist stars.

Tom Cruise is returning to “Oprah”!

The actor hasn’t appeared on Winfrey’s daytime talk show since his June 23, 2005, appearance where in addition to promoting “War of the Worlds,” he very enthusiastically expressed his love for future wife Katie Holmes (we’re putting the whole couch incident in the past).

It’s not clear what the focus of this show will be, but it is well-timed to May sweeps, and a quick look at the calendar shows that this summer is the 25th anniversary of Cruise’s breakthrough role in “Risky Business.”

A rep for Warner Home Video does confirm that there are “special plans” for the anniversary, and details are being finalized. Other celebrities have been contacted about being involved in the show according to sources close to them, so expect it to be an A-list hour of television. Cruise’s publicist wasn’t available for comment and “The Oprah Winfrey Show” didn’t respond by deadline.

Dammit! I was already skeptical about Oprah and her hero-worship of Travolta and Cruise, but this is the last GD straw. So help me, if she seriously tries to save that dipshit from his own asshattery, no question will remain in the minds of the world that she's been, um, "compromised."

BTW, the anniversary of his big break is the lamest excuse for a show that I've ever heard, and I hope it bites her in the ass bigtime.

EDIT: No way can he "spontaneously" be normal, so how much you wanna bet some of his handlers are preapproving all questions, (not that it's necessary), and coaching him to make normal responses, and that Katie will make some token appearance smiling her sad little smile, and they'll trot out footage of Suri, and they'll carefully balance his Scientologist supporters with more normal A-listers who have no flippin' idea what the cult really does, but who feel sorry for the crap he's taking. The more I think about this "show" the madder I get.

Could be dangerous, Tom will have his goons with him to harass any who try. That and he might try to use his soupor OT powors to confront, aggressively cause he's a wacko, any anons. It would be very awesome to pull this off but not without some healthy safety precautions.

If anyone makes it to the show, better make sure you know to make an origami mask as they'll take your real one at the entrance.

Crying? Not likely. I think it would get a response that would aid our cause enormously, though. But of course it would be edited out.

What would probably happen though, is that if it were just one person, they would be quietly taken out by security.

If there were a number of anon plants, who either all simultaneously put the masks on, or one at a time, after each one was kicked out by security the effect would be more cogent.

If any anon is thinking of actually doing this I highly recommend you ask all evidence of this removed from enturb as soon as possible and take the planning backchan.

I never trusted Oprah to begin with. she'll throw anyone under the bus to keep herself in good standing with her following. something her and TC probably have in common.

rest assured though there'll be many footbullets, standard LRH tech and PR techniques pretty much garuntees it, thus garunteeing many lulz to follow
