Not sure if this has been posted before, it's so good it's worth saying it again:

15th October 1968, spoken in the House of Commons. what changed so much that we were threatened by the powers that be that we almost lost the ability to speak plainly and call them a cult? why was nothing done by government to stunt or outright stop the growth of the Co$ back then?

During the past two years, Her Majesty's Government have become increasingly concerned at the spread of Scientology in the United Kingdom. Scientology is a pseudo-philosophical cult introduced into this country some years ago from the United States and has its world headquarters in East Grinstead. It has been described by its founder, Mr. L. Ron Hubbard, as "the world's largest mental health organisation".

now i really am wondering why the government has either done nothing, or not enforced anything they may have put inplace.

Edit: i've just done a search for the word scientology, and came up with 223 entries.

But yes they were until Thatcher let them off the hook in the 80,s !!!

Dick Jones was on a Gaurdian Office project to handle Thatcher as part of Operation Snow White, she actually read LRH policies and was either financed or coerced into backing Scientology, as result of the operation, Thatcher lifted the bad on US Scientologists coming to UK for services and so on. Dick was last seen on RPF Saint Hill circa 2007.

Wow that would be some scandal if we could find irrefuteable proof that she was coerced into allowing Scientolgists back into the UK !!!!

I should've known Dick Jones was behind all this.

if snow white was being done on thatcher... what could they have had on her?

i mean her son turned out to be such a fine upstanding gentleman didn't he? i mean he couldn't even abide by the rules of backwater african states.. Dennis the husband was last seen on Spitting image drinking aftershave..

how did Lady T become rich in the first place? i remember her campaign ads dragging up the image of the "little shop in grantham" and that - so there's no inheritance on her side. what about Denis the drunken husband? what was he up to? was there a scifag in his or her life?

never mind that GO & Dick, there'd be a big surprise if their sticky fingermarks weren't all over it. Mrs T ? well it wouldn't surprise ANYONE that she was in on a crooked deal either.
