Info wanted: How does COS spend its money?

New Zealand Tax Exemption
...a genius NZ anon posted some info on the agrement between COS and our tax department which gave COS NZ tax-free status.

But this agreement is up for review.

And what may swing the next judgement against COS NZ is their indebtedness to the US Church.

I think a submission from concerned NZ'ers is in order which would highlight the sort of things any payment back to US COS would be spent on.

Thus I am looking for any info on what the COS may take in (in income) and what they spend it on (eg, dox talking about how much they spend on lawyers, or how many lawyers they retain, or whatever).

For example, all their spending on lawyers, flash buildings for their businesses, PR, etc etc, would probably not encourage NZ authorities to agree to COS NZ's charitable status.

So please, anyone have any sort of info that might help us?!

We've got nothing? Anything on:
- $ spent on Lawyers annually?
- $ sent to head office for "licence fees" and where that money goes?
- $ spent on Tom Cruise and friends?
- $ spent on the Freewinds?

.. I'm trying to find evidence they don't behave like a charity with their cash. Anyone?

I'm not sure how reliable this info is, a few exscientologists are skeptical, but the ANDRE TABAYOYON AFFIDAVIT, 19 August 1994 alleges that Church funds were used to purchase a stockpile of firearms and precursors for the production of explosive devices, with the purpose of defending Gold base (near Hemet California) from any action by the authorities.

If that's true its not a very charitable use of funds.

Look for other affidavits, the bulk of the money would probably be going to purchasing buildings, paying lawyers, paying for DM's luxuries and filling the hidden accounts. I read somewhere a post about the CoS accumulating reserves of millions of $ (instead of paying staff)
