CBS 48 Hours delves into the death of Elli Perkins. Her son Jeremy did not receive proper psychiatric help because the parents believed in $cientology. In March of 2003, Jeremy stabbed his mother 77 times.

An Australian Scientologist has pleaded not guilty to charges of stabbing her father and sister to death and inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent to murder her mother. The family are Scientologists, and the woman was denied psychiatric help for that reason.
