They are definitely Scientologists. I met them when they were newly formed as Scios. They came to the Atlanta Org during the Olympics in Atlanta in 1996. Someone got an old double-decker bus and drove it to Atlanta and the Jive Aces played on top as they drove around town. Then they came to Nashville and did the same thing. Then went over to Memphis for the Memphis Mission's Grand Opening Celebration.

I had an opportunity to speak with the Jive Aces directly during these periods. They were a group in UK and liked to Jive. (They're really good, by the way.) Then they somehow got hooked into Scientology and were convinced to work FOR Scientology while doing their gig. So they donned the hokey bright-colored matching suits and changed their lyrics to match up with L. Ron Hubbard. They became SEA ORG MEMBERS. Now they tour around the world and play at org Grand Openings and other Scio-gigs.

They may act very young, but they're not. They're older than you think. They're just full of bounce. They were a band before they joined Scientology. I think the Church of Scientology just offered them a good promotional outlet they couldn't resist. Just another story of Scientology "co-opting" something good (and already working) for their own "special benefits". $$$$$$$$$$
