When the name was announced, I went ahead and bought fairgamestop.com to make sure they didn't get it. I have some interest in developing the site as an overview of fair game info and cases and such, but i definitely need some help from someone.

May 10th is about 15 days away. who can help out and get some content going?

I'd like to build it with wordpress, since that takes care of some 60% of the work right there, and it's what I'm familiar with. So all we need is some pretty words.

here is a recent article from my anti-Sci blog giving an overview of fair game (any constructive criticism would be welcome) which you're welcome to make use of should you so wish.

one thing I think would be quite important is to give a range of fair game experiences. people have heard of Paulette Cooper and seen the cult's harassment of John Sweeney, but the more "mundane" fair gameings (Sean Carasov, for example, and there's plenty of examples in the a.r.s archives IIRC) give a good demonstration of the scope of the cult's harassment.

some examples of past pickets would be good to give people a feel for what these ones will be like.

That's awesome. I think a photo gallery representative of all the places protests have taken place would be sweet. A 'press page' of major news coverage would also kinda lend credibility.

More fairgame-specific, besides the stuff rasputin mentioned (famous and relatively mundane fair gaming) we ought to have Anon's own fair game experiences -- you know, photos of scilons with the signs written over with personal info, the Youtube video, etc.

Definitely mention how Scientology's denying that they follow this policy, despite ex-members' testimonies and, yaknow, actual occurrences.

Care should be taken to keep the writing professional, though, because it's going to be easy to start injecting drama -- it IS dramatic and a little surreal, but the worry is that it'll end up sounding too spazzy for Joe Public and put people off.

Ken Ogger, "The Pilot", a well known Scientology critic was Fair Gamed by the COS till the day he commited suicide. At the time some thought it was a hit done by the COS. But even if it really was a suicide, the COS hounding him didn't help the situation at the least. Ken was found with his feet bound and tied to a weight at the bottom of the swiming pool in the back yard of his house in Southern California. The same month he died he had resumed posting on the internet against the COS. The link above is to a transcript of his last posts to the internet. Ken would've been so proud of Anonymous for trying to end the Fair Gaming of the COS that contributed to ruining him utterly. You can't get more ruined than 'dead'..., right?
