Ugh, I'm not sure if I can make it out to this. Pitty too because I used to be a "member" of the church there. Aka a few years back I just had to figure out who the hell people were joining the cult and I just wanted to spread the truth about the cult from within. It was quite funny seeing a few members start to question and then have somebody quickly attack anything I said. I saw some effed up stuff at that place that Scientology would never want to admit to. The first day I was there I was left alone for a minute and I had a chance to hear a nice phone call to somebody attempting to convince them to pay more towards their "needed" auditing sessions.

I wouldn't even care if they saw my face. I bet one lady who works there if she is still around would still know me since she kept contacting me for months on end. She was a OT1 and swore up and down that Xenu was not real. I kindly liked to remind her that of course she didn't know that because that isn't till OT3 which I pointed out to her I read without becoming in any harm as Ron warned of.

Good luck up there in Michigan! I'm having a good time down here, and will be attending the Orlando protests. Thank you for the coverage, Ed. That's a great write up you had. Unfortunate the BCPD would not respond, however I did receive an apology email from the BC Chief of Police. Will forward for the lulz if requested.

Well, it turns out that I will unfortunately be unable to make the protest this Saturday, I have to go to a surprise b-day party for one of my friends (30th, so a big deal) in GR. No idea how long that will go, but in case anyone else in the GR area is unable to get to BC for the protest and wants to meet up/hang out/get coffee/or something, let me know. Good luck to BC Anonymous, I'll be there for the next one (unless something drastic happens). Let's hope the BCPD are as cool as on 4/12, and no more arrests happen. And people shooting video--please get your vids up asap after the protest.

I may be camped out in New England, but I'll be thinking of you tomorrow. I can't make it to a protest here because of family affairs, but I'll be eagerly awaiting pics and vids from BC. I know you guys will be EPIC.

Me and Honoraboveall are going to attempt a G.R. flier dump at some point in time. Possibly later this month. I'm posting this on here just to see how many would be up for it.

Because I've been trying to line up a ride for like 3 fucking weeks now and this forum has been worthless in doing so. It's awful hard to get involved when everything when there doesn't seem to be anything going on in the G.R. area and all attempts to line up a car pool are ignored or neglected.

Wow... the GR Anons are dropping like flies... no matter. We'll still have folks joining us in BC... I'll not be deterred. Unless of course I'm the only sad-sack who shows up, which shouldn't be likely.

That is because most of our planning is done on IRC, since its too slow to use the forums for every little detail, that might need to change at the last minute. Also, we can limit who is in the IRC, but can't limit who sees the forum--we don't want all our plans in the open for the enemy to read at their leisure. Find us there. And you obviously did not read through the whole thread, otherwise you would have found this:

IRC Instructions:
1) Download Firefox if you haven't already (it's better than Internet Explorer and has an IRC program built in).

Secondly, you have not been trying to line up a ride on this forum for "3 weeks". You started posting here 6 DAYS ago. So don't get all bent out of shape and mad at us for not being able to help you out.
Thirdly, stop bitching at us for not helping you. Its not our fault that the Cos decided to stick a church in Battle Creek, of all places, instead of a more populated place like Kzoo or Grand Rapids. Sorry that you're stuck in GR/Allendale w/o a ride--maybe you should get a car, or make friends with someone who has one. I personally have given rides to people for each of the protests I've attended, even though it was way out of my way. In fact, I could be called a "dependable ride"--with whom you might have been able to hitch had you been able to get to south GR, and had I been going to the protest today (sadly I am not).

So, quit your bitching! and DEAL WITH IT! Not everyone is able to attend every protest, as long as the effort is made, its ok. You planned to attend today, attempted to find a ride, couldn't get one, and so you can't go. But you did make the effort. Relax, you'll make the next one. (imo, this weekend was bad anyway b/c it is mothers day, some ppl have prom, college graduations, etc going on--too many events at the same time)

That being said, I will be in GR today, available this afternoon if anyone who isn't protesting wants to get coffee or something. PM me w/ a number I can get a hold of you at, I'll check my messages around 4 or so probably.

I'm a BCfag. I registered just so I could say this:

Today? Epic Fail.

I spent a good chunk of time hanging around, but not a single soul showed up. I was at the meetup spot between 11 and noon, and nobody I could finger as Anon showed. Then I was in the area of the local scilon HQ... and here's a shock - there continued to be nobody.

I just registered to chime in too. Where were my fellow Anons?

I had the same problem... I was at the place of meeting at 10... waited 'til 11:20, no one showed. Sadly, circumstances beyond my control forced me to vacate BC and return home...

Don't sweat it, folks. Let's make up for it in June, shall we?

I was there hoping to cover the event for the Michigan Messenger and only saw one other person (who happens to read my blog, so he recognized me). There was no one there before 1 pm, we came back at 2 and waited until about 2:30 and no one showed up at all. As I was leaving, I did see someone from the Scientology office standing out front looking around as if he was waiting for the protest as well.
