Well, as long as they know the basic of things I think it would be okay to bring morons, Trust me, I have a friend who knows nothing and I might try and see if they'll go with me. Have to educate them a bit though so they don't go just for the hell of it. They need to go because they believe the same thing, you know?

CHARLOTTE ROCKS!

so, someone made a thread about how some of the smaller cities and some of the cities who don't get as much recognition as the places with bigger orgs are being slighted. i happen to think ya'll should get more recognition.

i want to thank you for organizing the protests in your city. i know that it must be much harder to show up with very few people and protest.

every Anonymous protest is important. every anon who protests is vital. every anon who cannot make it to the protests, but who helps in other ways is vital. there is not one of us who is not an integral part of this movement.

so, thank you very much for having your protests!

Old anon, new face to the forums. I live at UNCC but I couldn't make it to the last protest due to work. I will take off well ahead of time for the protest and I should be there. Also, any time spent handing out fliers on campus wouldn't be wasted. There are a lot of active people on campus. I just suggest it happens within the next 3 weeks or so, finals coming up. I would do it, but no cash to print out fliers.

I appreciate that comment, really. We just had the channel and the protest handed down yet again for the third time so I'm helping orginizing it for NC and the people in the channel are pretty dedicated to this. (I have owner of the channel with another person) but were pretty dedicated to this because we have had orginizers leave twice and were still going. :) We just need to get the word out a bit more for NC anons which I'm doing everything I can to do that. But good luck to you and Thank you also.

I'm hitting up the UNCG tomorrow with a shit load of fliers so hopefully I can get a few peeps to come out that way. Gonna make an email address that peeps can write to if they wanna get involved. I'll let you know how that whole thing goes.

Yes, Charlotte does rock! The town is made of part win, part awesome.

"Very few people", that's where you've got us wrong, no offence. :D Every one so far, we've had upwards of 50 people! I arrived to the February one late and was surprised to see so many people out there, especially considering there was no real talk on the boards of Charlotte; and there's almost zero $cilon presence in the city.

I only correct this because I want people to know there are good numbers in Charlotte. You needn't worry there aren't many people, so lurkers, come on out!

Just bring an umbrella... :)

wtf is it with the Charlotte protest and rain. I was only able to make it to the March 15th protest, but it rained like a mofo then, and then on the 12th there was moar rain. Hopefully this time it won't rain....

I wil be there and plan to bring people. heres the thing, im new to this and didnt know there were others out there that were aginst this thing like we were. we are excited to hear that yall are doing all of this. rain or shine we will be there. but where are we staging?

Wanted to be there in April- in fact had planned on it, but was asked to play piano for a memorial service by a friend whose father-in-law passed away.
I still have my yellow umbrella, but will not need to sit! There is still a gap in my leg bone but the doc said today it will fill in so hooray! I celebrated by dancing to Everything But The Girl's 'Missing' for about half an hour while playing frisbee with the dog.
Did anyone ever find out if we could have an information table? I would love to put together some fliers, brochures and/or info packs.
