Re: Pittsburgh, PA
Heya Pittsburgh anons,
I've been protesting down in D.C. with my school year fellows, but will be returning to the Pittsburgh area after I'm finally through with grueling finals. I will not be present for the May 10th protest (will still be in D.C.), but I hope to be there for Sea Arrrgh! Can we possibly get tickets for one of the boats? That would be hilarious if we did. In other words, I love you, miss you, and can't wait to join my fellow anons in the city I've called home. Where is the Church of Scientology in the Burgh, exactly? Also, other cities are trying this: how is the idea of protesting in other much more visible areas, in order to stop royally pissing off shopkeepers? This is assuming that our CoS is as unobtrusive as other cities' in terms of its location. How about Point Park? Station Square? Or on the many, many bridges? |

Boats would be awesome for Sea Arrrgh, but I'm told they cost money :/ I suppose we could try scouting for another populated area if we have more trouble with the shopowners this time -- we'll have to see. I don't know if Station Square would work all that well -- I'm not sure if there's any really ideal place to picket that would still get a lot of foot traffic. Point Park maybe. Anyway, good to hear we'll be getting Anons in from colleges outside the area -- a lot of ours seem to be leaving for the summer after this one. |
