so, someone made a thread about how some of the smaller cities and some of the cities who don't get as much recognition as the places with bigger orgs are being slighted. i happen to think ya'll should get more recognition.

i want to thank you for organizing the protests in your city. i know that it must be much harder to show up with very few people and protest.

every Anonymous protest is important. every anon who protests is vital. every anon who cannot make it to the protests, but who helps in other ways is vital. there is not one of us who is not an integral part of this movement.

so, thank you very much for having your protests!

Smaller? DC had 300 people on 3/15. o.o

Hey guys, I have been pondering something lately, and I was wondering about some feedback. This doesn't necessarily need to be on 5/10, but this certainly might be something do consider.

You know how the Scilons claim that 'communication' is at the very core of their beliefs? It's their standard answer to any question of their First Amendment abuses. At least, that's what I could tell from Magoo's videos. Anyhow, I digest. What I was considering was at some point setting up a table across the street from Scientology. We have a megaphone and call to them, asking for a debate. On the table we have plenty of literature quoting exactly how 'open' Scientology is to communication, and certainly a lot of different things asking why they refuse to comment. We can call them and ask them to come out and communicate and discuss and such. If they don't come out, oh well it is a win as we just called their bluff on being open to communication. If they come out and speak with us, it is a win because whomever is sitting at the table will (or rather SHOULD) be very informed and ready with questions to put to the CO$. Further, whomever is at the table had better be able to keep a calm demeanor and be able to resist bullbaiting. Also, it would mean no faggotry. No ad hominem attacks against Scilons, and also no trying to defend Anonymous. Should they try and attack us, we turn the tables with another question against Scientology. Of course, it's very unlikely that they will come out. Scilons HATE public forums that they can't control. And they can't control the internets. I plan on being at the DC raid on 5/10 which is why I put it on this forum. Anyone who thinks it should be more public, PM me and I'll try to move it elsewhere. I would also like some feedback on the feasibility of it.

EDIT: Cameras should be there naturally. VIDEO=GOOD FOR US! but that should logically go without saying. Having a camera there is non-negotiable.

P.S. As this is my first post to enturb, I would like to say this much. I am not ANON. I am anonymous to the extent that here on this forum and all over the internet, I have no name, and no identity. Thus, by definition, I am anonymous lower case. I support the cause of Anonymous and participate in the raids (2/10 and soon 5/10) however I cannot take credit in any way for the wonderful avalanche that formed from the snowball of the Tom Cruise video. I have followed you all from January and I have pointed many a friend in the direction of you all and these forums as I am genuinely excited for this. Who knows? Perhaps one day I might just get bored and participate in some epic lulz, but otherwise? I cannot be ANON, just a happy supporter.

PPS Sorry for how long this post is. I'm an English major and tend to type. A LOT!

We asked them to come out and talk to us on 2/10, it didn't work. Now that their policy is to "ignore" us, i doubt they will change their minds.

Side note, talking to fresh meat leaving the orgs can lead to huge wins.

true, true, but did we call them out to such an extreme fashion? There's a difference between asking them to come out a few times, and setting up a table and waiting for them to come out. One is just us asking, the other is expecting them to fulfill their own core beliefs and having it on video when they don't so we can call even more attention to the fact that they don't even believe in what they say. We aren't trying to get them to change their minds, we're just trying to get them to put more bullets into their foot.

Now for all the DC anons who don't regularly check into Anonymousdc.com, here's the checklist for the 10th!

1. Permit - TAKEN CARE OF

2. RECRUIT RECRUIT RECRUIT! Go to Stop Scientology Abuses | You Found The Card and print off a shit ton of cards. Run a viral campaign and keep a bunch in your pocket to drop off every time you go to the store, every time you are in the library, and ESPECIALLY cover the metro. Organize your schools to run flier raids and plaster the info everywhere. Recruitment is the most important thing to do.

3. Make videos. Record your dancing in front of the CoS, do a skit, animate something lulzy, or put together something inspirational. These should be EPIC videos, like Message to Scientology, the Road To vids, or that fantastic Albino Black Sheep animated craziness. Legion needs to remember the lulz and it's up to us to provide them.

4. Drawfags, make new posters and fliers!!

5. BRING CHILI TO THE 10th!! (Om nom nom!) It's the day of the Chili cook-off in DC, so we're celebrating in awesome anti-CoS style. Bring tums and prepare for a raid on the actual chili cookoff to spread lulz and ant-acids as well as fliers and knowledge after the raid on the Org.

6. Call the media twice a week. Send out press released, emails, and contact everyone you know. The wall is beginning to crack and the stories are getting better. This is a shitstorm of anti-CoS news lately, we have to take advantage of it.

7. CALL YOUR CONGRESSMAN. We've been lobbying hard, so DO IT. Anons in MY Congress? - Anon Call to Action to Thank Congresspeople

8. Brainstorm some epically huge ideas for the 10th. We have time to actually make it work if you think of something early. Get people here, break 300 (THIS IS DC!!!!!!!), and rival the wins of London and LA.

9. Don't forget to preorder your copy of Battle Toads. I heard that someone might have a whole bunch of extra copies. If you preorder, make sure to record it so the rest of us will know when BTs will be available.
