so, someone made a thread about how some of the smaller cities and some of the cities who don't get as much recognition as the places with bigger orgs are being slighted. i happen to think ya'll should get more recognition.

i want to thank you for organizing the protests in your city. i know that it must be much harder to show up with very few people and protest.

every Anonymous protest is important. every anon who protests is vital. every anon who cannot make it to the protests, but who helps in other ways is vital. there is not one of us who is not an integral part of this movement.

so, thank you very much for having your protests!

swim is having login troubles for the lv forum but will elaborate here on his recent text message issue.

swim recieved a text on his phone regarding anonymous. it was sent from a number "25509" which is apparently code associated with aol instant messenger. when an IM is recieved on a cell phone, depending on the phone, it will not show the aol screen name and instead display that number or a similar one.

the message was as follows:

"You have been identified as a participating member in a cyber-terrorist group known as 'Anonymous'. The proper authorities have been informed of your actions and your wherabouts. Furthur participation will be occompanied by legal action, and you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."

swim is a nice guy. he doesnt do anything but help out fellow anons. he is concerned however that this may be a fake message from anons messing with him. swim even skipped a raid after recieving this, afraid of any problems that could have been brought to the anon group as a whole. however, nothing has happened to swim... he replied back to the text numerous times, but the messages bounced back.

now, swim wonders how his phone number was discovered... this already means he has been facefagged. but this leads him to believe the possibility of this text being from an authentic church member could be low. it looks like some shitty fair game to swim. are any of you anons fucking with him? he never gave out his digits... or even his name. being a bit of a moralfag may make swim a target of old anons, among other things. finding phone numbers is VERY easy as well... just pay roughly 15 bucks to get access to phone records online.

either way, swim will be there for the upcoming raid. whoever this is, stop fucking with swim. if its really scientology, and you really know his "wherabouts", how about manning up and confronting swim.

OSA monitors IRC I would disreguard ANY text message as a fluke simply because cell phones can be eavedropped.

Unless you are OFFICIALLY served, these are just scare tactics or an attempt to namefag. Do NOT react. That is their whole purpose.

National dates for raids conflict with local events, but because some will show up anyway, we will accomodate both days for Epic LULZ and delicious

And with a little luck...Xenu may make another apperance and the $cilon Bunker...AGAIN!!!11

SATURDAY May 10 Flash Raid

1. Location : Bunker
846 Sahara Ave

2. Start : 11 am

3. Duration : One hour is good but may last longer for those who want to stay

4. Attire : As with previous Raids

Bring a mask, V-mask is best although a bit cumbersome, or surgical mask or bandanna. and Sun glasses. Sunglasses can be worn under V-mask and the dark eyes really is unsetteling. Could be Xenu under there!
Add a hat to keep the sun off.

Clothing is white shirt, Black suit, Red tie, comfortable shoes. (Savers is a gold mine to find these items)

5. Bring : Bring photo ID BUT keep it close to your body in case of pick-pockets. We wore ours in a neck pouch under our shirts. There is very good reason for ID. Metro can run you in for no ID, even though there is no law on NRS requiring one to carry ID, Metro can find obscure ordanances to force ID out of you is they so wish. They can hold you until you can prove who you are. They can be anal.

Bring water, it gets hot and the road dust parches your throat. Besides, a deyhdrated, delirious and heatstroked Anon is useless.

Camera, if you have talent or want to document

Signs, extra signs if you have time. If they are mounted on a dowel/stick then they can be held overhead, better for visibility.

6. Parking :That section of street has NO posted parking restrictions, NO turn lane postings, NO bus lane only postings and NO red zone. Just a bus stop in the middle of the block. The opposite side of the street has 1 hour and parking red zones. It may be wise to park down the street or near the strip and catch the bus in. Parking close only makes it easier for PI.

SUNDAY May 10 Flash Raid and March down The Strip

1. Location : Bunker
846 Sahara Ave

2. Start : 11 am till noon or 1 pm (stationary group may stay longer)

3. Cells = Marchers : From the Bunker, individual cells will split off to cover both sides of the Strip

4. Attire : As with previous Raids
