tl;dr - actions? yes. a single individual? maybe not so much. bring a buddy

Covert flierings (i.e. getting there in the middle of the night and covering all public message boards with anti-scilon propaganda) are a relatively low cost and generally safe way of having fun. Though you could do this on your own, I have always implemented the buddy system. It's just safer that way. I say find a fellow anon or IRL friend who doesn't mind going out for a quick raid at about 2am so that the next day the $cilons have to see our propaganda and thereby all become PTS-es. Granted, they will take it down but if it stays up long enough for the morning crowd of ppl on their way to work then the message will have gotten out and it will have been worth the effort. Bear in mind tho, at 2am the masks are far less lulzy than during the day time. I know of anons who had a run-in with the police for exactly that reason. Ultimately it's your call tho. Just another factor to consider.

Another option is to set up shop right next to one of their "Free Stress Test" tables with a sign and some pamphlets for the general public. Hell, you could even try to take the test yourself as this would shut out anyone else who otherwise might. Since this is a pretty blatant challenge to them you will DEFINITELY want to take someone along for the the ride in case of bullbaiting or any other insanity. From the accounts I've seen they'll likely just pack it up but even then it's entirely possible that you will have picked up a tail. Just remember, both the public transportation system and the police (esp MVPD) are your friends.

Crap I've been so busy I've fallen behind on keeping track of things here. I'm still undecided on whether to bring video or photo.

Also, I have some photo canvas I can print on, which could kinda make a flag, but it might be a little weird. And its meant to only be printed on one side, so I don't know how well it would fare to getting both sides printed on for a flag.

eh, don't bother with the flag thing then. i'll see what I can do elsewhere. As to the question of video vs photo, I say bring video equipment. I'll be using mudkipz the failcam for photos as the video quality is pretty crappy and the camera is difficult to properly stabilize. the photo ability works well enough tho.

Ok I guess I'll come with video then. Just FYI, I can't edit anything right now, so I would have to just pass the raw video on to someone else to use, unless I can find someone with final cut or something.

Woot! Glad to hear you'll be joining us. Though I understand the draw of the larger protests and would love to get to the SF one myself at some point, I've kept myself reserved for the MV events because I think my own small contribution will count for more here rather than getting lost in the crowd. So thanks for helping out the little guy this time around :)
